"Lighten up, it's fine." Mewed back Russetpaw. They walked a little farther, than heard it, barking. A Twoleg dog ran for them. "Run!" They yelled in unison. But the dog was faster. It snapped its massive jaws around Russetpaw's neck, snapping it and throwing him like a ragdoll. It grabbed Birdpaw, and everything went black. She woke, days later, in the Medicine den, with three legs. She loved helping with herbs and such.She changed her path to medicine.
