Humans had always been mindless, clueless creatures. They didn't stop to notice the little things and always hurried to believe that they were invincible. They were the strongest, smartest, most intelligent life form to reside on Earth. The few times that other animals were spoken of were in fictional stories thought up by creative minds. But it was merely entertainment to the humans; they never would have assumed that those creatures of myth actually existed. They never thought that maybe, just maybe, it was the wolves who were truly the kings. And that they were real.

The wolves, on the other hand, were much more aware of their surroundings. They were clever and thoughtful and learned to survive, even with the careless human beings ruining the land at every other turn. Wolves adapted, but they didn't make themselves known. The humans were too curious. If they knew of the wolves existence, they would interfere worse than they already were. So wolves kept to themselves, following one simple law: Do not let the humans see you.

ＴＨＥ ＷＡＹ ＯＦ ＴＨＥ ＷＯＬＶＥＳ．

Territory.
There are two main packs that reside in the land of the wolves, along with a few scattered solitary wolves and the small 'gangs' of wolves that pop up on occasion. The first pack, the Dawn Pack, resides on the left side of the Luna River, which is considered neutral territory by all the wolves. On the east side is the Valley Pack, and all throughout are lone wolves that wander about the territories and in the Outlands. The gangs usually sprout up in the Outlands and are normally made up of young males that have decided to part from their pack.

The Set Law.
Apart from following the simple rule of remaining hidden from humans, the wolves have a set law.

▪ Do not, under any circumstances, allow yourself to be seen by humans.
▪ The killing of a pup is forbidden, even if the pup is from another pack.
▪ Defend your territory with your life.
▪ Wolves from different packs should not mix.
▪ Hunting in another pack's territory is not permitted unless stated otherwise by the Chief.
▪ On the night of the Gathering, fighting is completely forbidden.

ＧＵＩＤＥＬＩＮＥＳ. This is just a quick set of rules I expect to be followed. Please read them carefully!

Literacy. At least two detailed paragraphs per post.

I prefer three or more paragraphs, but I believe that literacy is defined by quality, not quantity, so don't drag your posts out if it's only going to be a bunch of unnecessary fluff. Keep in mind that I'm also not talking about three sentence paragraphs. A good 'paragraph' is at the very least five lines of text. I would also like you to use correct grammar and punctuation.

Respect. Please be polite and respectful at all times.

Don't argue over little things and become easily offended. If you disagree with someone, talk it out through PM. Also, please don't use chat-speak (i.e. gr8 luv u lol brb etc.), especially when in character. This goes hand-in-hand with literacy, but it's also disrespectful because it's hard to understand for some people and can be incredibly annoying.

Forms. Use your own.

You must use your own form. I'll be basing your literacy off of it so please try to make it look nice. Also, I hate to say it but I do like pretty forms. They catch my eye and typically easier to read. The same thing applies to posts, but I don't require you to make it pretty. It's just a preference of mine.

Spam. Do not spam the thread.

Having side conversations unrelated to the roleplay is considered spam. Take it to PM please. Excessive out of character chat can get the thread locked. I might make a separate discussion thread for out of character chat, but only if I see it necessary and if there is enough interest in there being one.

Characters. There is no limit on the characters.

I won't limit how many characters you may have, but try not to let it get out of hand. Have the number that you can manage and keep it like that. Also, try to keep genders even.

"My name is Roland. I am the Chief of the Dawn Pack, and I have been for a lengthy four years. My parents were the Chief and Luna before me and I inherited the title at the age of two because I was the oldest of all their offspring. I have had many brothers and sisters and the only one who was older than I was killed by a gang that had intruded on our pack territory. My other siblings are spread throughout the land, most of which are in another pack, gang, or are living the life of loners. I have no connections with any of them.

I don't have a mate, though I know I should have chosen one long ago. For a Chief to die without any young is something greatly frowned upon. I feel the pressure upon my shoulders to find the right female, but she has yet to show herself and I'm worried I will pass away without any pups. The thought scares me and I would rather not talk or even think about it."

ＴＨＥ ＰＡＳＴ
. roland's adolescence went relatively uneventful. he was a loud,
boisterous pup at the time. he had no need to worry about his future because
he was the child of the chief and luna. he was born into the dawn pack and
was raised there. his outgoing and playful attitude made him very enjoyable
to be around, although he could sometimes be overbearing with his never-
ending bounds of energy. roland was looking forward to being a soldier. he
had decided that was his goal by the time he was six months old. however,
that dream lasted for only another six months before his older brother was
killed by an intruding gang. roland became the oldest living pup of the chief
and luna and had no choice but to inherit the title chief when he became two
years old. roland resented his new ranking and caused much havoc for the
first few months of his chief-hood. he was unruly and inexperienced. anger
and unhappiness controlled most of his decisions and many wolves were put
at risk because of his unthoughtful and ill-planned choices. he was three when
he finally came to his senses. his parents had just passed away after almost
a year as elders and he was the last of his family in the pack. many wolves
began to scorn him and his rulership, so he decided to make a change in him-
self.

ＴＨＥ ＰＲＥＳＥＮＴ

. now roland is a much more experienced wolf. he is quiet and nor-
mally calm, and the few times that he is angered, he maintains a
collected appearance. four years as a chief has brought him much
knowledge and wisdom. he knows the meaning of being a chief and
he always makes his best attempt to keep his pack safe, though he
is flawed and at times fails. roland can sometimes be too proud for
his own good, stubborn to a point that spending too much time with
him can cause one to become stressed and highly agitated. roland
tries again and again to be at least tolerable, but he is naturally
annoying with his pessimism and sarcasm. not many can sustain his
presence for a long period of time. to some extent, that is what
roland wants. he has it stuck in his head that he doesn't deserve a
good friend and he especially doesn't deserve a mate, so he pushes
others away from him. he is quite content as being alone in leading
the pack, although many wolves are urging him to choose a female
to lead alongside him. roland knows the necessity of having pups as
a chief because he needs to keep his lineage in the higher ranks, but
he hasn't yet found a she-wolf suitable to the rank of luna and one
who can endure his sometimes intolerable disposition. he is incorrigible
in many ways.

Ｅʏᴇs Colorless. Pale.
Ｆᴜʀ White/Cream. Greyish spots on back and sides. Ears are redder around base and dark-tipped.
Ｂᴜɪʟᴅ Larger than most females. She has a particularly heavier build with thicker bones, larger paws, and a broader chest.
Ｏᴠᴇʀᴀʟʟ Vixen is unlike most females who weigh 75 pounds and walk with a small figure. She's much larger, nearing the size of the average brute. A beautiful light colored coat of white, cream, and grey covers her body, turning into an orange-ish red color around the base of her ears and then darkening to a grey black at the tips. She is adorned with a stunning pair of eyes that seem to hold no color. They are pale and sometimes seem lifeless and dull, but they are still quite something to look at.
