ＳｔｒｅａｍＣｌａｎ

Decades have past since the era of the four great clans: Thunder, River, Shadow and Wind, have all ceased to exist. However, their codes and stories are immune to the many attempts to destroy them. Always, a cat has managed to escape the endless attacks on the sacred traditions passed down by the generations. New clans rise from these survivors, growing into the very essence of their ancestors clans. They carry on the never ending battle to prevail against all who oppose the warrior code. This is the tale of four newly born clans. MistClan, a clan who lurks in the misty depths of their forest, using its unusual environment to their advantage against enemies. StreamClan, a clever clan who uses the streams that crisscross their territory as a navigation system. RainClan, a clan who's sleek fur and steady paws keep them on their paws and dry in their damp meadows and forests. And DewClan, a clan that uses brute strength to protect their glistening domain from all intruders. These are the four new clans that have come into being, what will their fate be? Will they succeed where others have failed, or fall like the rest to corruption and jealousy?

StreamClan cats are the most clever of the four clans. Their intelligence and quick ability to adapt to new things is rarely matched by other cats. As quick witted as they are they may also be quick to flee. They prefer to use surprise tactics over brute force or luck, and when things seem to be going down-hill, they often retreat and try something different. These cats are fairly lean and not necessarily the most formidable looking group of felines. Don't allow that to fool you however, because, as mentioned before, these warriors rely not on their brawn, but rather their brain. Because their forest is like a maze of never ending ferns and sparse landmarks can be found throughout their territory except the seemingly identical streams and creeks running throughout it, they use these waterways as a sort of map. It's not necessarily needed since by the time they are warriors they should know the forest like the back of their paw, but it does come in handy while trying to explain where they should go and what to do.

The origin of the clans founder is shrouded in mystery, she is suspected to be the long decent of a RiverClan or WindClan cat. She was one of the most crafty cats in the land, her plans never failed the she-cat as she managed to allude all who threatened her and her clan. This made the she-cat, known as Stream or Streamstar in stories. The great feats she accomplished as she led her clan gave rise to many stories that could send chills or cause a purr to start in the youngest and oldest of cats. One such story, the very founding of StreamClan, is one of the most commonly heard story. It's a tale of the struggles and hardships Stream and her small band of cats went through to create the foundations of the clan StreamClan now calls their own.

Ｔｅｒｒｉｔｏｒｙ

x O v e r v i e w x
StreamClans territory is densely filled with ferns, mosses, willow trees and a variety of young deciduous trees. Many small streams and creeks flow through the forest, some hidden others visible. Wild flowers, dandelions, almost any type of flower and bright green undergrowth can be found dappled through their damp territory. Large trees are a fairly rare sight near their camp, the largest trees the cats have laid eyes on are usually rotting on the forest floor and covered with a variety of plant life. It is an usually lush environment filled with prey and herbs. The main types of prey SteamClan eats is fish, birds, crawdads(fish), and voles. There aren't many predators out of the ordinary here, however, hawks and other large birds of prey are nearly unheard of attacking. Badgers and foxes are the animals that cause the majority of the problems for these cats, but, due to their nearly predator-less environment it's quiet rare to see either of these.

• F l o w e r P l a c e x
  Flowerplace is a beautiful place, covered in fragrant purple flowers. There is a large abundance of herbs in this area of territory, and sometimes rabbits. A small stream runs along the boarder of the tree line where the flowers begin, here a few fish can be found as well as many water-related herbs. It is near the boarder to RainClan but distant enough to be safe from patrols. This is one of the few places in StreamClans territory that isn't filled with ferns or flooded with streams. It's quiet lovely at night when the moon in full in the sky, fireflies come out to dance in the night and the petals of the flowers turn silver in the moons' light.
  
• L o n e T r e e x
  Lone Tree is a very dark, misty, and damp part of StreamClans territory, it is on the very fringe of it. It is so close to MistClans boarder its roots enter their territory, this area is needing to be constantly remarked and patrolled. A large field surrounds the tree on all sides, hence it's name, which makes it very difficult not to be seen approaching it on either side. The fields grass is very short and never seems to grow more than and inch or two. Beneath the gnarled roots of the tree are a variety of mushrooms that have been known to have strange affects on cats, from revealing pain to causing hallucinations.
  
• T r a i n i n g G r o u n d s x
  The training grounds is a small mossy clearing surrounded by trees and ferns. There is a log amidst the soft spongy moss that the warrior and apprentices can use to practice their moves on as well. The moss is very nice to practice on and breaks both warrior and apprentices falls. A small stream runs along the edge of the clearing offering a cool drink to tired warriors and apprentices after they've finished training.
  
• M o o n F a l l s x
  The Moon Pool, or Moon Falls, is a cave tucked into the small mountains near the center of the four clans. It is a high roofed cave that is quiet spacious. A waterfall runs down the side of the cave into a good sized pool below. During moonhigh the pool of water becomes a crystal pool and is illuminates the cave. The travel there is about a two day journey there and back across all four clans. A steep, cliff is the only way to reach the mouth of the cave, which is littered with gravel and other loose rocks and such. Though it may seem a rather intimidating climb to the shimmering pool, it is in reality very easy to reach. This is where Medicine cats and leaders come to speak with StarClan.
  
• L e a d e r s' D e n x
  A large mossy boulder with slightly smaller ones propped up against it serves as the leaders den and MossRock which is used o make announcements on. There is also a fallen sapling laying against the side of it, working as a ladder to get to the top of MossRock. Inside of the cave it is cool and fairly dry, it's not large but 3 cats could fit comfortably in it. After years of persuading the moss has covered some of the entrance to the den giving the leader a bit more privacy.
  
• M e d i c i n e C a t s' D e n x
  The medicine cats' den is in between the warrior and nursery. It is in the base of an old tree, it has long strands of moss hanging over the entrance. The hollowed out interior offers many spaces to store herbs and such, near the back is a shelf like structure carved from the wood by an ancient medicine cat. It smells sweet of rotting wood, herbs and dew. Near the back there is a second space for the medicine cat and medicine cat apprentice. It is only big enough for two cats to stand in without brushing pelts.
  
• W a r r i o r s' D e n x
  The warriors den is a Large hollowed out log nearly indistinguishable from the masses of moss covering it entirely, besides the entrance. Once inside it is large enough to fit a good number of warriors, thought it is longer than it is wide there is plenty of space for the warriors and their nests.
  
• A p p r e n t i c e D e n x
  The apprentice is a makeshift den from ferns and brambles. The ferns have been woven tightly together to create a water proof seal against the elements, keeping the apprentices warm and dry inside. It is a good sized den, oval in shape with enough room for a number of apprentices to sleep comfortably. During the colder months when the ferns and brambles die off, they move into another open den space where the nursery and elders dens are at.
  
• N u s e r y x
  The Nursery is a den that is suspected to have been dug by a badger, wolf or fox. It has been upgraded with gorse and ferns in an attempt to increase its' defense in case of attack. Inside it is snug, warm and dry, big enough for about 5 queens and their kits to sleep together in. The den is lined with soft moss growing all around with delicate white flowers that bloom on the moss during Newleaf and Greenleaf. This den has many tunnels leading to other dens, some used often while others are only used during storms or strange space.
  
• E l d e r s' D e n x
  The Elders den is another area of the den that supports the nursery, there is short tunnel leading from the Nursery to the Elders den. It is lined with soft ferns to protect the elders from the cold. This den is about the same size as the Nursery maybe a bit larger fitting about 7-8 cats comfortably.

• This is a semi-lit RP, please don't post only one sentence,WB is understandable. Each post should be at least 3-4 well though out sentences with proper grammar, spelling and punctuation. Pretty up your posts too! Don't use picture in every post however as it's against the rules, fontmeme is considered a picture.
• No perfect characters! Everyone and thing has their flaws. Please try to keep the genders even.
• Don't god-mod, power play, or use another persons cat without their permission. At all.
• Keep things realistic as with cats names, Dragonburst is not a name a warrior would have, a good example of a warriors name would be Lizardfang, or something. Please don't you use things that cats don't know about, if you can explain it out as to how they learned about galaxies or something, then fine...Starry and star cannot be used. I'd also prefer if you didn't use stream as one either. Don't use the same prefix more than twice. Also make sure it makes sense for that cat. ^^
• No detailed mating or anything over pg13, this shouldn't even have to be said but time and time again people don't use their common sense so I'm just going to say it.
• You can be your own love interest and mate, but you may only have one pair of lovers out of all your characters (Don't go over board with it though. ._.). Don't be your own mentor or apprentice, there's no fun in that.
• No killing or mortally wounding another persons character without their permission. Don't start prophecies without my knowing and consent, feel free to suggest them though! c:
• Please be active and include everyone, I hope for this RP to be successful and that can't happen without loyal and active members!

• N a m e : Bonestar, Boneshatter,Bonepaw,Bonekit.Bonestar is not exactly sure why he was given the prefix 'bone', or the suffix 'shatter' for that matter. At times he stops and tries to put the pieces together, but the best he's come up with is that he was possibly white when he was a kit? But, that wouldn't make much sense now would it? Whatever the reasoning behind his rather odd name is, he's glad it was bone rather than misty, or some other type of feminine prefix used to describe pale, silver, white and gray cats.
• G e n d e r : I should hope that's obvious, he's a tom.
• A g e : 28 Moons, quiet young to become leader, but he wasn't exactly planning on taking on the role so soon.
• R a n k : Leader, hence the 'star', following his prefix.
• D e s i r e d R a n k : He sometimes wishes to go back to being the deputy, but he knows that's impossible now, so he has decided leader is his desired rank. Which he has already accomplished. So he has none...I guess.

• H i s t o r y : Bonestar, was previously known simply as Bone. His kitty-pet mother heard of the clans from a loner and wished for her first born kit to be trained in the ways of the warrior code. StreamClan camp is far from any two-leg places, so the journey was quiet a long one. His mother however never faltered, leaving her kits in the care of her two-legs she left with the tiny bundle of pale, silver, and black stripes that was Bone. Eyes still closed, ears still unhearing, the young kit was nearly completely unaware of the day long trip. When she entered StreamClan territory, she was met by Ravenstar, the previous leader of StreamClan. After a few tense moments,she agreed to listen to the kitty-pets story and eventually decided to take in Bone. His timing couldn't have been more perfect, it was as if Starclan had planned everything out perfectly, for a queen had just kitted that morning no more than a hour ago. Gingerly taking the kit from the mother, Ravenstar asked it's name before disappearing into the ferns to deliver the kit to his new mother. It took a bit of convincing, but eventually the queen took in Bone, now Bonekit, and agreed to keep this their little secret.Being such a young age when all of this took place, Bonestar has no recollection of these happenings, and is still in the dark about his kitty-pet roots. If someone were to tell him his mother was a kitty-pet he'd most likely laugh and tell you you've got bees in your brain to be thinking something like that. He was later apprenticed and trained, once he was given his warrior name, a few moons afterwards the current deputy was killed when he came across a badger while hunting alone. Boneshatter was named the new deputy, to his surprise, and Ravenstar took him under her wing and trained him in the ways of being a leader. Unfortunately, not long after that she was also taken by StarClan during a battle with one of the bordering clans recently.

• A p p e a r a n c e : Due to his maturity level he seems to appear more of a she-cat than a tom. He is what you would call a late bloomer, still having his kit-ish looks and habits. His fur is a beautiful rich chocolate-brown that covers his whole being. It is sleek and very soft to the touch despite the fact he usually keeps it (or makes it) a tad unkempt in an attempt to look more tomish. He has round, pale green eyes that take up a good portion of his face.
• P e r s o n a l i t y : Mudpaw is a clumsy and sensitive cat who is easily spaced out with the attention span of a kit. He has an overactive imagination and often comes up with silly ideas that will more often than not fail completely or end badly. His thirst for adventure is what propels him to go through with these doomed plans. Not only is he effeminate in personality but also in appearance, making him easily mistaken for a she-cat at a distance. He easily becomes upset and has a hot temper when one of his friends or he is being bullied.
• H i s t o r y : His memory before the clan is a blur. The only thing he can remember clearly are the words of his mother as she nudged him towards Dapple Clan's Camp. “See those cats? Go make friends with them I'll be right here when you come back.” He believed she would stay, but as soon as his mother left his view he knew he would never see her again. From that day forward he had the normal life of any cat who joined the clan. Yes, there were times when cats were cruel, but he prevailed.

Her tabby markings a bit dark then you might usually find on a silver-tabby, but that just makes her even more proud of her fur coloring. I'd you look closely, you might see that her eyes have just the slightest hint of a pale silvery-icey blueish to them. She also has a few markings that are darker then the rest on her body.
• P e r s o n a l i t y : I'm not going to sugar-coat what Softfeather is really like. This young she-cat is snapper then an angry adder, if you anything about her having a kittypet as a mother, she will claw your ears off. Softfeather isn't all to mean though, she has a nice side. But she only uses that side when she's meeting new cats, speaking to the elders, Clan Leader, Deputy, or senior Warriors, anyone else gets the cold shoulder. So, just be careful about what you say to her, and you might just land a friendship with this pretty little kitty.
• H i s t o r y : Softfeather was born out in a Two-leg garden wither brother and sister, Bill and Katie, about sixteen moons ago. As this silver-tabby grew, she hated being around her mothers Twolegs and would often hiss and claw at them whenever they tried to touch her. In response to that, the Twolegs kept her shut out of their nest and the only contact they had with her was putting out that kittypet slop and water. Thankfully, her father, Smallfire, would come to vist and sometimes bring fresh kill for her to eat, and soon he was coming everyday to see her. He told her great stories of patrolling and fights with loners and rouges, how the Clan took care of the young and the old, and about how the Clan worked. By this time Mitzy almost loathed her daughter, who was about seven moons, and Smallfire. So, when Mitzy was eating, Smallfire showed up and took Softfeather away to the Clan to become an Apprentice.

• A p p e a r a n c e : Cougarstrike is a tall tom, probably one of the tallest cats in the clan. He's a stocky and well toned tom, and it seems that he was built to be a battle feline, despite the peaceful path he has chosen. His fur is short and smooth to the touch, coloured like the smoke that comes from a fire, and it has been questioned why his prefix was not 'Smoke'. He has pale green eyes which are set a little deeper than normal into his face, which gives him a rather thoughtful look. A distinct flaw in his appearance would be that his left eye is slightly lopsided and lighter than his right, and it bothers the tom when he catches other felines staring. Despite his peaceful path, Cougarstrike does have a few scars here and there; some from getting stuck in brambles, and others from fending loners and rogues off in their attempts to harm the elders and kits. His left ear is torn from being in a fight with a rogue. Here. Sounds like Brandon Keener.
• P e r s o n a l i t y : It's said that Cougarstrike is a bit of a hothead with a love for mischief. He struggles under restriction, and has a preference of doing things his way, rather than following the Warrior Code, which can sometimes get him into a bit of a pickle. He has a strong sense of right and wrong, and he highly respects individuals that sacrifice everything for their clan. When he is unable to get things right, it bothers Cougarstrike to no end - it slowly eats him away. In some respects, the situation can get worse for him if he is no longer able to assist in any way he can. He is a highly dedicated and loyal feline, who would rather take action like a warrior cat rather than sit back and do nothing. If someone has his respect, he will follow them to the ends of the earth, and do almost anything for them. However, doing his duty is of Cougarstrike's utmost importance, and he can get easily frustrated if he can't do what is deemed 'his'. He sees things in black and white; either someone is bad, or they're good. However, when facts point him in different direction, he can lose track with the task at hand.
• H i s t o r y : There's nothing special about Cougarstrike. The young tom was born around Newleaf time with his sister, Pondfur. Being named 'Cougarkit', after his father's father, and his sister being named 'Pondkit', after her mother's mother, both found themselves developing a sibling rivalry between one another. Both would fight over who got to have the first bite of the prey, and who got to go out for wanders with Tigertail, but it was all in good fun. Upon their apprenticeship, the tom was assigned to Coalfur, a surly tom with the love for a fight. They trained for two moons, before the death of Honeypaw, the Medicine Cat apprentice, devastated the clan. None of the kits were old enough to become apprentices, and without a second thought, Cougarpaw quickly volunteered to be the next Medicine Cat apprentice, much to the disappointment of his mentor and father. His mother was rather pleased, and Pondpaw found it absolutely hilarious, calling her brother a weakling and a coward. Though, her opinion was changed after he threatened to poison her food with the many herbs he had knowledge of. On the day that he became a warrior, the clan was attacked, and Cougarpaw received the name of Cougarstrike, for the hard blow he gave to a loner, upon the death of the previous medicine cat.
