The other half, along with most of the foals, are positioned in the tree line at the base of the western mountains, on the west side of the river. The small forest is just across the river from them, only a miniscule distance south.

Personality in depth: Ahote lives up to his name's meaning. He is restless and tireless, always wanting to keep moving from place to place. He despises being in one place for too long and, if he is forced to remain stationary, begins to turn destructive and violent. It's not that he means to, he simply cannot take it. Pressure and stress builds up in him and he snaps at simple things. This is the reason he keeps on constant move, always thinking about his next destination.

He can be a roamer when to comes to herds, but in any herd he joins he will fight for a respected title and air. Although Equids do not have a dominant male, Ahote will do his best to try and come off as being above the other males. Ahote is a definite commander, he does not like to be treated like he is less or a lower rank. Sometimes he may become too prideful about his rank or lack of, more than once he has gotten himself in to trouble. If he does find himself in a troublesome situation he will see it through, he does not like to back down or flee.

All this about pride said, Ahote does have some qualities of a true leader. He is brave and will not run from things he fears, and his wiseness excels that of most Equids his age. He is capable of creating deep, intricate plans with little time and is smart as a whip. When his pride isn't getting in the way, Ahote is truly a bold leader to have. He is very opinionated, though, so when he is planning or discussing something it's best not to get in his way.
