Friend Or Foe...?

In this unique city, many abandoned dogs, from chihuahuas to great danes, try to survive on what they can find. Every day is a battle between life and death; whether trying to find enough food for themselves, or trying to give the local dogcatcher the slip. They take up refuge in one of the two large, fenced in junkyards they call their home. Many enjoy this "living life on the edge" lifestyle, but some are jealous of the pampered pets that live in the warm homes of the humans. These pets are safe and well fed, but in turn, some long for a free life. In the middle of this struggle, two seperate packs have been formed: The Dawn Pack, whose members claim to be the nicer, more open of the two packs, and The Dusk Pack, with members with dark histories and grudges against the humans and the Dawn packmembers alike. These two packs have split the city straight down the middle, and try to stay out of eachothers way. Some wish for peace, others for war. Only time will tell whose wish will be granted.

2. When fighting, let your opponent choose the outcome of your attack. For instance: "Juliet lunged toward Jake, attempting/hoping/planning to colide with his ribcage." "Unfortunatly for Jake, Juliet's attack was successful, sending him sliding back across the dirt." But please be fair with this!

3. You can have any amount of characters you want, as long as you can handle them all!

4. No wolves or wolf mixes under any curcumstances. I'm sorry, but I want this to purely be a domestic dog rp.

5. Most importantly, no one-liners. This is a literate rp, so I would like you to post at least one paragraph per turn (I count 5 sentences as one whole paragraph). Tips for posting a lot: Don't just put what your character is doing or saying, try to add what they are thinking, feeling, observing, or planning on doing. Of course, I understand when you have writer's block, but try not to use that as an "excuse" every time.

6. No chat speak, etc. Please use proper punctuation/grammer, capitalize correctly, and use "quotes" when your character is speaking. I understand mistakes, but please try to go back and fix them if you find them. Also, when speaking out of character, please use brackets.

7. Try to pay attention to where you are on the map. If someone is at the park, and you're deep in the neighborhood, you most likely won't be able to see them or hear what they're saying, right? Also pay attention to the time and weather (I will be the one to change it).

8. Please try to post when it is your turn. Some people may be waiting on you, and in the meantime the thread could die. Please let me know if you want to leave/take a break from the rp for a while. Also, don't post too much and leave people behind!

9. You may be caught/escape from the pound on your own terms, but please don't hog the spotlight of the rp.

10. Finally, you may switch from stray to pet, from pack to pack, and you may find a mate and have puppies.

Description (Paragraph): Sprite is a lovely, pure bred Saluki. Despite living on the streets for a very long time, she still appears well groomed because she tries to keep herself clean at all times. Some canines call her vain. She is quite tall standing at her full height, and extremely thin due to lack of food. Her fur is a pale cream/fawn in color, and her eyes are a chocolate brown. At the end of her long muzzle is a black-colored nose. Her nails are pale, and kept short because of walking upon concrete every day. She wears a worn, forest-green collar around her neck, unable to take it off; it is a symbol left behind by her former owner.

History (Paragraph/Optional): Before Sprite became the leader of the Dawn pack, she had an owner that she adored. She was shown in competitions, and had won quite a few. However, one day everything went south. Sprite fell from a staircase and broke her left hind leg. She recovered over time, but never was rid of her limp. Unable to enter in any more shows, her owner gave her up to a friend of his. Devistated, Sprite ran away from her new home, hoping to find her way back to her former owner. She never did. Her new home is now living on the streets with fellow runaways and abandoned pets. She had built up a pretty good reputation, and now is the leader of the Dawn pack, hoping to give others a new chance at life.
Personality (Paragraph): Sprite is a kind-hearted soul, who holds no grudges for those who have done wrong to her. She tries to keep an open mind, and seek the good in everyone. However, this makes her very gullible, and taking advantage of her isn't that difficult. She holds herself gracefully and speaks with a regal-like tone. When getting down to business, she can be serious and firm; creating structure and giving good orders. She won't allow rules to be broken constantly, but gives out second chances. Her only concern is the saftey of her pack. Sprite is an old romantic, but it would take a bit of hard work to win her over.

Description: Mystic is named after the Misty day she was born. She was the only red pup out of the litter. She has one copper eye, and one blue eye. She's never seen another bi-eyed Husky like her. She has a very "magestic" body and muscle, along with great movement when she runs or gallops.

She ended up being the only red colored husky in the litter, and the only girl. She was very tough and athletic like her father (who was also a red bi-eyed husky). She grew older to be a show husky. Untill she was told to run away and be with the Dawn pack. She hopes to full-fill her dream of being alpha, and a sweet loving mother. Just like her parents did.)
Personality: She is very calm and happy, but you think she doesn't have a bad side. When the doing goes wrong, she can get cranky. Overall, she's very nice and loves pups. She's always desired to have one, but can't find another husky around. She's very tender loving, and sweet too.

Description (Paragraph):
This wise Pitbull has been beaten, starved, thrown into the pound, and abused in many other ways, resulting in multiple scars around her body. The picture below was when she had a good, old owner, who passed away six years ago. Left alone, Hazel headed out on her own, ending up being taken by abusive owners. Hazel managed to escape alive, with only a few scars. After that, she recieved more serious injuries, as told in her history. Hazel has short, deep brown fur, with some Bryndal in her. She has Hazel eyes, resulting to her name. Hazel was called "Socks" by her former abusive caretakers, because of the white going up her leg.

History (Paragraph/Optional):
As told before, Hazel set out alone after her loving caretaker passed away, when Hazel was one year old. She was then taken in by her abusive owners, escaped, sent to the pound, and escaped again. When she was out on her own the third time, however, she was just at the wrong place at the wrong time. Neighborhood Dobermans and Great Danes had escaped from their leashes, and were on the loose. Poor Hazel was the first that they saw, and their victim. Fighting as hard as the pup could, she was injured severely. Though she never thought she'd say it, Hazel was happy that the dog catcher came. They started for the attackers first, seeing as they were aggressive. As he chased after them, Hazel made her escape.
She had emerged from the gory fight with torn flesh and muscles, and blindness in both eyes.

Personality (Paragraph):
Though Hazel has had a horrible life, she learned to appreciate what she could get, and is rarely ever aggressive. Hazel is rather kind to those she knows, but may come on a bit harsh to newer dogs. She enjoys being alone when she knows no one, but would rather be together with a friend. She is very wise accounting all she has been through, and is the right dog to go to when in need of help. Though she is blind, never underestimate her in battle. Her keen senses of smell, hearing, and feeling can get her through any battle, if she does get into one. She also has, however, a small limp in her front right leg that may slow her down a bit. All in all, she is kind if you know her, a bit harsh if you don't, but wise and will help anybody in need.

Personality (Paragraph): He can be very withdrawn at times. But he is very gentle when he decides to interract with others. Most humans frighten him, but sometimes he will allow them to get close. He preferrs to speak rather than just listen when he does decide to speak.

Description: She looks like the complete and total image of mutt. She is a small dog. Not a small toy dog, more of a Border collie smallness. She could possibly have every breed in her but she doesn't know. She has perfect size triangular ears that are usually folded down but sometimes they stand straight up when she is curious. Her tail is usually curled over her back. Her face is dark chocolate brown with black points on her muzzle and ears. Her eyes are a lighter shiny liquid brown compared to her face and her nose is black with one small pink spot to the left. Her medium length coat is white occasionally dotted small black spots that may appear to be streak like. Her tail tip is black as if dipped into ink along with the tips of her toes.
History: Was born and bred to be a junkyard dog. She was born out of the city in some other town but has made her own way to this city. She has been with the Dusk pack for a long time, since she was about one. She hasn’t lived an easy life and it shows slightly. She loves her way of living though and makes fun of the domestic dogs.
Personality: She’s the kind of dog that won’t take crap from other dogs. She’s hard core and won’t let anyone control her. She’s tough and doesn’t complain about life. She gets angered easily, especially if someone is whining about how much their life sucks. She won’t let other dogs bully her around or tell her what to do. Maybe deep underneath all the harshness there might be some kindness but who knows.

She is suspiciously healthy for a stray, but she won't tell how.

She had competed in competitions, but had lost one of her showings. Her owner had taken her straight back to the pound, and later Angel escaped. She had wandered around for a while, not sure where to go, until she came upon Dusk Pack.
Personality (Paragraph): Angel is secretive and mysterious, never talking about her past. She is a great liar, and makes it seems as if she is sweet and nice. But really, deep down, she is manipulative, depressed, and hurting. She doesn't let anyone see her cry, and wants to appear strong and happy. She tries to help anyone in need, and that can sometimes get her into trouble. She doesn't think she could ever love someone, and she doesn't think anyone could love her back. She is sneaky and charming, and the reason she is healthy is because she steals food from human's houses. She doesn't feel loyal to her Pack, and she has never seen the need to. She is rebellious and independent, and also quick-witted and sly. She is very un-trusting of humans and others, and very rarely does she ever open up to someone.
