~Story~
It's a story about a herd of wild horses that ran free on the range of colorado mountains, Leading the herd was a big black stallion, His name was NightSky, A nice tall stallion that was a mean as could be, No man could even get close to him or his herd, Some men did try, But some where never seen again, He could out run any horse in the land. And by his side was a pretty little mare, They called her StormCloud, Becaues of her color. The stallion led the herd for years, Then sadly a war started and the calvery need all the good horses they could get, And on a cold storming day they went after the herd, NightSky had to fight harded them any stallion before him, He led the men to a box canyon trying to get them away from the herd, But sadly the stallion ran in the canyon and couldn't get out, The men roped him and took him away, But NightSky did not go easy, He put up a good fight. After the storm was over the mares came out from hiding and looked around for the stallion, They never seen him again, After then StormCloud steped down from being lead mare, The herd had on leader yet, But before the stallion got taken, He was able to sire one colt, That would soon lead the herd.
Shadow
Shadow was the only son of NightSky and StormCloud, A beautiful cold balck colt with a personility to match. The indains named him Shadow becaues of his color, He was faster then any colt in the herd, But he grow up hard and fast, He became a tall and pretty stallion, As a young stallion Shadow was alright to care for the herd, But he was to young to lead. But yet there is no lead mare so will se what happnes.
Anna
Anna was a beautiful young girl about 12 years old, She grow up on a ranch, She can ride as good as any man, Anna loves horse, She sometimes woud ride up to a cliff and watched the herd. Anna ketp her eye on Shadow, She watched him grow, Her farther didn't want her around the horses. Anna's mother died a long time ago, When Anna was little, Will she get to ride her dream horse.
