The massive tom bowed his head. "Your highness!" He chuckled. "I wish to join your amazing clan. I'm done being a loner.

Leafstar bared her teeth, and in one swift motion she had knocked him to the ground, pinning him there ''dont patronize me!''

The tom kicked up his hind legs and swiftly rolled over. He backed up. "You don't want my respect?" He questioned. "I only wish to live in peace. I know the warrior code and I anmm ready to defend a clan. I want to defend this one."

Leafstar sat down ''and how do you know of the warrior code?''

Nightwhisper came up beside Leafstar, his yellow eyes narrowing at the slightly bulkier Tom. He already didn't trust him.

"My mother told me of the clans. She knew a lot about you." The tom said.

Leafstar ''who was your mother and how did she know so much about us?''

Nightwhisper flicked his tail, wanting to know the same thing.

"I wish to keep her name secret. She is a good cat." He said. "She should stay that way, for if her name was revealed, it would bring her shame."

Nightwhisper stared at the cat. "Wouldn't she want the clans to know her name if she loved to talk about them all the time?"
