Shadow yowledd in pain as the fox bit his tail. He leapt away, following the others into the woods. "What are you doing, Echostorm?" Shadow screched. "It's just going to follow us!"

Echostorm isgnored him completly, and instead adressed the fox. "Hey! Over here!" She slashed at it's face, but not enough to really hurt. "Just trust me!" She yowled to Shadow, then hissed at the fox. "Come on, Fox dung!" She taunted and raced off into the forest, a satisfied smile growing on her face as she smelled it's rank scent on her trail. "Come if you want, I'm taking it off territory!" She called to the others through clenched teeth.

[[Wait, I'm going to back up a bit before Mosspelt recieves help...]]

Mosspelt dodged the first attack with difficulty. He backed up, and was taken unprepared when the fox swiped at him, scratching his side. He started to bleed heavily and backed up further. Then, he saw other cats bursting in the clearing. good. His eyesight swam and he tumbled in a world of darkness.

forestlight froze. Mosspelt had been her friend... But she was wounded. She couldn't fight. "That, Shadow, is a fox.'

Flickerheart followed. She would not stand her own apprentice being wounded, or worse, killed. She raced after the party and found Mosspelt. She leaned down and grabben the unconsious cat to remove him out of the way. She went back and charged the fox from the back. She suddenly noticed Hawksky. "Hawksky!" She yelled. "YOu should be in camp!"

The fox paused and looked at everyone. Finally, he slipped out and left there, ignoring Echostorm. The "battlefield" Was a wreck.

Hawksky shook his head. "And this fox should be in somebody else's forest!" he shouted over the noise.

Eclipsepaw woke up in his nest. The dim light shown in the den. He padded out, squinting at the bright sunlight. Eclipsepaw shook his pelt, having bits of moss flying from the chocolate tortoiseshell fur.

Shadow followed Echostorm, realizing her plan. "Come on!" He yowled to the others. "Follow Echostorm!"

Flickerheart slumped to the ground and finally got back up and raced over to Hawksky. "Is your paw alright?" She asked.
