She raced faster than she'd ever gone before towards starkit and crashed into her pulling her as close as possible to her long warm fur and grooming her all over smothering her with kisses and checking for wounds and nuzzling her fiercely.

Starkit yelped joyfully when she saw her mom rushing towards her. And then she was surrounded by fur. "Mom," she said. "You're smothering me."
