Pinepaw thought for a moment, then looked up at her mentor, "Everything!" She purred, but then addded, "I want to hunt! So I can feed the clan to make it strong and healthy!" She said, sitting and putting her anxious energy into her tail, which made it swish back and forth vigorisly.

Foxpaw looked at his mentor, a pride glowing in his eyes, "Yes! Yes! I would love to! I can't wait to sleep in the apprentices den!" He yowled, bouncing around withhis orange chest huffed out. "I am the bold Foxpaw!" He said again, gloating.

Duststorm sighed. She was in for a bumpy ride with this one! Forcing back a smile, the deputy let her face take on a serious expression and stepped in front of him calmly, stopping him from going forwards.
"A warrior must learn self-control and not to boast before he becomes successful, for boasting only increases the anger of those around him." That was what her own mentor had told her back when she was an apprentice in WindClan. She had been like Foxpaw, be it a little less loud, and it was only with Weaselclaw's guidance that she became who she was.

Foxpaw nodded, stopping instantly, "I want to be the best warrior, I will do what ever it takes, I want to be like the mighty Firestar! Never Tigerstar," He said, looking at the warrior, knowing she was from Windclan. He was told many stories of many cats. Like the warriors in Riverclan, Windclan, Thunderclan, and Shadowclan. They had saved the clans from destruction, but sadly there was another one that literally destoryed the clans. The war.

She nodded. Determination was good. "Firestar was a great warrior, a tom who proved that heritage did not make you a better warrior than another cat. Tigerstar refused to see this even when it was plain before him." Her mother, dear Heathersong, and her father, Crowblaze, had been decended from generations of pure WindClan cats, yet they were always willing to help those who needed it, no matter what Clan they came from.... If they could see TimberClan now... She reflected before pushing the thought away. "Let's get going."

Foxpaw nodded, looking down, he was from a tribe, no where close to being related to the legendary clans. He wished he was, he wondered what it was like, he'd never know, only in Timberclan, he was born in Timberclan, but Shadepelt was a pure tribe cat, same with Deathrage, his uncle. But his eyes gleamed once again, "Well im not blind like him!" He purred, "Thets go then," He said, his head and tail high. He was glad that no one really relized that he was a pure tirbe cat born in Timberclan.

She moved away from in front of him, and, with a flick of her tail, began to lead the way out of the camp. She knew exactly where to go; she hadn't used it as an apprentice, but had rather been taken to it by a senior warrior in the suns after TimberClan was formed. It was, in her opinion, the best place to collect moss. "The quicker we get there, the quicker we can get back and make your nest." She glanced at the sky, scowling faintly at the dark clouds that were rolling in. The air was damp too. "It'll rain soon."

Tidalfront turned slightly as she watched Flickerkit storm out of the nursery and into the camp. She gave Applesong a small nod at her apologies, even though she personally still felt that the whole thing that Flickerkit had done had been a cruel blow to her own pride. "It's fine." Her words were muttered under her breath.

Foxpaw nodded, walking calmly behing his mentor. "Rain soon? What about the elders? And queens? Are they going to be alright? If they need moss more then I could either share with my brother and sister, or I could sleep on the ground," He said, looking conserningly at the sky.

The deputy let out a purr of amusement. "Everyone will be fine, young apprentice." She told him solemly as she exited the camp. Pausing to wait for him, she turned around, tail high in the air. "There will be no need to sleep on the floor. Tell me, whenever it rained when you were a kit, was there any danger?" Of course there was no danger; there had never been any danger when it rained.

Foxpaw shook his head, "Well, no, but some times, where Shadepelt and I were, it dripped down intothe nursery in large storms." He added with a glint of amusment, "And sometimes one of us got soaked," He purred, exiting the camp to get the moss. He had so many questions to ask her.
