Riverstripe cocked an eyebrow when Lostnight glared at him as if he had just interrupted something. Lostnight had approached them both after all. At the black Tom's words, Riverstripe's eyes narrowed. "Actually, you are here to hunt. Not to talk. There are hungry cats waiting at home, so whatever it is, it can wait." He cast a glance back at Elmshade, as if silently asking her not to go.

Splashfeather's eyes widened when she learned of what had happened. "You fell in? That water is freezing! Are you okay?" Her eyes glistened with concern and she padded closer, giving Ivypaw's coat a sniff. She then nudged the Robin closer to her and Bearpaw. "Here, you both really should eat. Prey always helps keep you healthy."

Nightwish nodded in agreement, beginning to focus her senses more on her surroundings. After a while, she scented mouse and veered off to track it.

He moved towards Riverstripe, not wanting to appear threatening- but he was upset either way. "What, is the only thing the territory is for is hunting? Why do you even think I was out here for a hunt and not to talk in the first place?" He kept his voice calm, but internally...maybe this cat could benefit from a scratch across the face. "It's up to Elmshade whether they want to talk or not."

Robinwind stepped out of the way as Splashfeather came in with food for Bearpaw. The den sure seemed full with so many sick or injured cats and everyone coming in. He nodded to Blizzardclaw. "I'll let you know how she's doing." He said, and wished him goodbye as the deputy headed out. With Dappleleaf, Ivypaw, and Bearpaw all inisde and resting, and Ivypaw keeping an eye on the others, Robinwind took a moment to sit down and eat. He was starving, this was the first thing he had eaten for a while, having been too worried about everyone to really find a moment to eat. He was greatful that Weaselstripe had brought him fresh-kill as well.

Elmshade frowned at Lostnight's hostility towards Riverstripe. Riverstripe hadn't done anything wrong. She looked to the black-furred tom. "Well, I mean, sure we can talk, but Beestar did tell us we needed to hunt. It's leaf-bare, we should be hunting to make sure no one goes hungry." Elmshade mewed, shaking her head at Lostnight. "If you can't wait, we can talk on the way to the river, if you don't mind coming with." She offered, tilting her head with her question.

"Prey's running well towards the east, then." he said, narrowing his eyes at Riverstripe. Why did they always have to get into his business with Elmshade? "I'll wait for you there."

Riverstripe flattened his ears. He didn't look intimidated, just annoyed. Why was Lostnight being so hostile to him and trying so hard to separate him and Elmshade, to get Elmshade alone to talk? What was so important and private that it couldn't wait until they got back to camp, or that Lostnight couldn't say it with Riverstripe present? It only made him distrust the former rogue more. "Didn't you hear her?" he asked Lostnight, his tail tip twitching to and fro with impatience. "You just said it was up to Elmshade whether she wanted to talk or not, and she said you could--on the way to the river, if you want to go with us. That means we're heading to the river, and if you need to talk right now so badly, you can come with us and talk on the way. Simple as that." He didn't want to become confrontational, but Lostnight was being ridiculous and suspicious right now. He was acting as if this was some personal one-on-one time with Elmshade that Riverstripe had interrupted, when in reality they had all been sent to hunt together--and Lostnight wasn't even hunting. Doesn't he care about the queens and kits back at camp? Or the elder? Or any of his hungry clanmates? He guessed part of Lostnight's bad mood came from being scolded by the leader, and that he wanted to not hunt just to defy her, but if that was true, it was kittish. It was leaf-bare, for StarClan's sake! There was no time for such pettiness when cats needed to be fed.

"This isn't relating to you." he hissed. "I want to talk to one cat, and that's it. You don't have the right to answer for them- they get to answer for themselves." He looked over at Elmshade. "If they want to tell me to meet them by the river, then I'll do it. But you shouldn't be speaking for somebody that's not you!" He hated them even more after this- this didn't even concern them.

Elmshade huffed. "Stop fighting, both of you." She snapped, flicking her tail behind her. "Lostnight, like I said, we're going hunting. If you want to come with Riverstripe and me to hunt, we can talk along the way." She repeated, tired of the arguement between the two toms. "Otherwise I'll talk to you when we get back to camp. I just want to hunt." She didn't know why Lostnight was so upset. They had both gotten scolded by Beestar, but maybe it had upset Lostnight more.

"Actually, it does concern me, because we're all clanmates, in case you'd forgotten," Riverstripe snorted back. "And you're right, I shouldn't be speaking for anyone else--and I'm not. Elmshade already did answer for herself, but you didn't seem to hear her." He fell silent when the she-cat told them to stop fighting. Lostnight was clearly in the wrong here, yet Riverstripe felt like he was being lumped in with him simply for standing up for himself and Elmshade, not to mention Beestar's orders. Still, he didn't want to upset Elmshade anymore--StarClan, he didn't even want to upset Lostnight. He just wanted the tom to come back to his senses. "Come on, Elmshade," he sighed, beginning to lead her away. "We've wasted enough time already."

"...alright, lets head back" She spoke and let out a soft sigh. She turned and began heading back towards the camp. She felt the urge to cough again and tried to keep it in, failing miserably she let out another violent cough.

The tom nodded slightly before turning his attention back towards the mouse, a part of him was telling him the mouse was too small to be a good catch. He shook his head slightly and decided to listen to AcornSpots by catching the mouse. He crouched down and moved so the wind was blowing towards him before continuing towards the unsuspecting prey.

He jumped when he got close enough and caught the mouse underneath his claws. He didn't give it a moment to understand what was going on as he bit into it's neck. He raised his head and glanced back at AcornSpots.

Once her apprentice responded, the warrior turned and began heading away from the camp. She felt no need to look back as she assumed her apprentice would follow right behind her. She purposely avoided the direction that SunFlare and CedarTail had headed in, she didn't want to deal with them looking for HazePaw if they hadn't found him already.

She paused, turning her head to look at RaccoonPaw "Alright, what do you scent?" She questioned.

The kittypet stayed on her fence and glanced at her housefolk's home. A part of her was greatful, she would have died that day had it not been for him but a part of her still missed being on her own. It wasn't the same living with everything being handed to you and a part of her found it boring. It also probably didn't help that she wanted to learn more about the clan cats, they seemed so much more different from a group of rouges and that made her curious.

She leapt down from her fence, It hadn't been that long since the clan cats had left and Artemis still wanted to learn more about them. The best way to do that was probably to head back within their territory, she hoped they wouldn't immediately rip her to shreds since she had helped one of their own. She glanced back one more time before beginning to walk deeper into the forest.

She looked to the way where the younger warrior was looking at, flicking her ear at her question "I do miss to being a warrior, yes" she responded "It's not like I am that old or too weak to hunt or do the warrior duties, but medicine cat just felt it could be better if I don't stress my back too much" she meowed to her. She sighed "being an elder is sometimes very boring and lonely, but good thing is that you can sleep as long you want..." she told the warrior with a smile.

As the kits lost interest in him and Robinwind didn't need his help anymore, he got up and out of the nursery, not going far just sat down near the den entrance. His eyes looking over to the medicine cat's den overhearing that the Bearpaw was returned and some other cats were got hurt, but he didn't know anything else.

She followed after her mentor, staying near her, but kept her scents alert for anything going on into the woods. Stopping when her mentor stopped and asked her a question "I smell mice and a squirrel, not so far away and there all fresh..." she told the warrior.
