Volt tried his hardest and made it the top right before Athena and Hex, he wasn't sure if he could keep it up on the way down though

I began to try to get to the top. I put all my effort into it.

[Leviathan]

Blackthunder swung by her teeth from branch to branch, her neck muscles strained. Her jaw was on fire but she kept up with the leaders. She passed volt giving it her all on the way down.

[Destonation]

Volt saw BlackThunder pass him, he went faster, his muscles burned but he was determined. He passed her but only had a tiny lead on her.

I was trying to pass BlackThunder and Volt.

Athena reached the top a moment before Hex.

Hex began to climb down with Athena.

I almost heard a snap from my paw breaking. Well I was almost at the top.

Volt was beggining to lose his focus, he was getting dizzy, he was almost at the bottom, but he was sure at that point someone was going to pass him.

I finally was at the top. Then I began to reach the bottom almost.

Blackthunder passed volt again only a tiny bit before she landed safley on the ground. She panted but her jaw ached so much she almost cried out.
