Jaypaw gave a small sigh, seeing Thrushleap stand up and call for his mother. He didn't like it. After glancing around a bit, he spotted Kestrelfern and bounded towards him. "Hello."

With a small, quiet mew Kestrelfern entered the medicine den, tail stiff with anxiety. "Jaypaw?," she called softly. When she spotted him lying in a nest, her eyes nearly bugged out of her head. "Jaypaw! Oh that's terrible!"

Lavenderpetal ;; emotion -- motherly || location -- camp || tagged -- mistpaw, open

Lavenderpetal had her paws curled beneath her, her son pressed against her side as she groomed his head. They were idling as Mistpaw had no duties to tend to and her own apprentice was resting from battle practice earlier.

Mistpaw yawned quietly with a stretch, paws curling out so far he looked like a stretched rug in a two-leg nest. Well, they were in a two-leg nest, of course.

[ ooc;; Jaypaw left kestrelfern to fight with his siblings, and is now being tended to by the med cat since Emberdream ripped his tail off. She could see him though now? ]

Jaypaw lifted his head, hearing Kestrelfern's voice. "S-sorry for leaving you earlier, Kestrelfern, I.." he sighed, frowning.

Emberdream looks at the ground and sigh as he looks around for Foxsnap.

Foxsnap;;

Foxsnap spotted blood splatters on the wood planks on the floor and she dropped her prey, horrified. "What happened??"

"Forget about that!," Kestrelfern said quickly. She trotted to the small tom's side, unsure of what to do; she didn't want to hurt him more. "How... How did that happen?" She flicked her ears in the direction of his hindquarters, where his tail was crudely missing. She couldn't help the soft noise that left her as she saw it again. How painful must that feel? "Who did that to you?"

Emberdream ears flatten as he walks over to the she-cat "Leopardstripe's last litter of kit attack Stripestar."

Jaypaw rested his head down again. "E-emberdream," he murmured.

Foxsnap;;

"Who did that to him?" Foxsnap demanded, her tail lashing back and forth. "Did Stripestar??"
