Salmonfall stared at him for a while before a smile lit up her face. "R-Really?" she seemed in utter shock, for no tom had ever said such a thing to her. "I think I love you, too." Salmonfall blurted out before blushing furiously.

"Wow. That's good." Cornfur tried to say calmly, but his eyes betrayed his excitement. "So I guess we can be like a thing now. That's how this work, yeah?" He said, letting a huge grin creep across his face.

Suddenly, a cat dropped down from above and landed on top of Herringpaw. They were larger and heavier than Beechpaw, but not much bigger than Herringpaw. "Gotcha!" Seabreeze meowed playfully, one paw hanging over the apprentice's head.
