{@HollowedAngel : Sorry, forgot to give you a link to the setting/recent events. ^^; Basically, they're in a grassland (no woods nearby), it's getting dark, and Eaglestar's asked them to stay near the lone tree they're resting under.}

"I haven't seen your friend." snapped Leah, stepping out of the grasses. Her eyes were narrowed, her ears tilted back. She was tense, ready to run, but she tried not to show that. She couldn't fight, but this cat--she couldn't be any older than her--wouldn't know that.

Viperpaw glared at the she-cat in front of her. "Yeah well I find that kinda hard to believe, especially when you're watching me through the grass," Viperpaw spat back as she watched the she-cat in front of her warily. Ears tilted back in a similar way, the tortoiseshell's guard was up completely and she showed no sign of lowering it at the moment. Her claws gleamed as she shifted on her paws with her tail lashing.

Rainsong
Stepping daintily over a small fallen log the she cat let her radiant bicoloured gaze glance towards the direction of the lone tree. Rainsong was a novice warrior, lithe in build, much better suited to hunting rather than battle. Smiling softly at the feeling of the warm sunlight blanketing her pelt, only occasionally interrupted by crumbs of shadow from the tall grasses and shoots, she let out a content purr. It was nice to be able to just stand outside a moment, and take in the beauty if the surrounding world.

Dragonpaw
Bounding brought the foliage the young male scattered it, bursting past several small field creatures as he whipped through the open grassland. The wind running through his fur, his muscles rippling beneath his sleek pelt, now this was something enjoyable. He'd grown tired of apprentice chores these last few days, even if he was soon to become a warrior. Eventually slowing he panted, halting at the brink of the hill, panting just a little as he regained his breath. A cold breeze swept by, chilling him a moment. It was enjoyable, the wind,but in contrast to the warmth he felt from the sprint it did make him feel a little queezy. Shaking off his pelt he flicked his tail before trotting through the vegetation, ears pricking as he decided he'd head back to the lone tree to see what the others were up to.

Leah glared at her, her tail twitching. "...I did hear another voice." she said after a moment. "Kind of hard not to; you two are as loud as two-leg monsters." she growled. "It came from over there." she nodded in the direction she meant, not taking her eyes off the other cat. "It's probably that friend you're looking for." Now go away, she thought. Just--run off to find your mouse-brained friend, and leave me alone.

"Oh, I don't mind telling. I've been trying to get it off my chest for a while, in fact." Shadowpaw says. "And, I haven't ever kept a secret before, but yes, I could try. I never try to lie or decieve anyone." he meows. "And the apprentices? We can meet them whenever you're ready." the black tom tells Songpaw with a small smile. What are they up to? "Falconpaw...I think that's her name...she seems like she could use some nice friends. I'm sure they're all fairly kind." he mews.

Songpaw moves forward to wisper the secret in Shadowpaw's ear,"I'm blind in one eye and I'm almost blind in the other eye." She said alittle shaked, never telling anyone a secret before."I wasn't blind when I was born, but I think it was to do with my scars. I can colours and shapes, just not the deteiled staff. And my visuen is foggy. But whats waired is that when I move or something alse moves, my paws send a signol to my mind and shows me what everything looks like and everything is. Every deteil. Don't ask me how its possible, becouse I have no clue."Songpaw look up to the sky and back to Shadowpaw,"We should be getting back to the camp. It getting dark." She mewed to the tom."Do you know the way back?" Songpaw's blind eyes widen, "Becouse I think I heard Eaglestar say something at the clan meeting about say near the tree and not wander off without telling or asking her."

Viperpaw watched Leah suspiciously for a moment before noticing something. The she-cat's claws weren't digging into the ground. In fact though all the other signs of her being tense showed, her claws weren't even showing at all. Which was very strange in Viperpaw's opinion.'Maybe she's a runaway kittypet or somethin'. Either way not my problem,' Viperpaw thought indifferently before shaking her fur out and trying to smooth down her bushy tail before giving the she-cat a curt nod. It wasn't of thanks because Viperpaw didn't have to be thankful to a furball that could be a threat, but it was of acknowledgement.

"Hmm maybe she did go that way...Alright. Duskpaw, I'm gonna go get Wolfpaw, mind heading back to camp? I don't want ya to get into any trouble with Eaglestar alright?" she mewed back to her friend who was a little ways away, but that was alright. Viperpaw just hoped he'd heard her. Turning then she gave Leah one last suspicious glance before disappearing into the long grass leaving the loner to her thoughts. "Wolfpaw over here!" she called just as a bird sprung upwards.

Surprised Viperpaw nearly fell on her haunches, but instinct that'd kept her alive before coming to the clans kicked in and she leaped, claws outstretched. A heartbeat later she held down a crow and gave it was quick killing bite to the neck. Remembering Leah and not wanting any prey to go into anyone's paws other than her clan's own when they needed it more than any one else did. After all she knew how loners thought. She'd been born one after all. So with the crow fastened in her teeth Viperpaw raced after where Wolfpaw was supposed to be.

Wolfpaw heard a 'swish, swish' by her, and she growled. It certantly wasn't a cat; no.
"Hello?" She mewed quietly, shivering again from the cold.
"I'm not here to hurt you. I'm looking for my two friends." Wolfpaw explained softly. It probably couldn't understand her, but there was still a try; But then the stench of some foriegn creature, possibly a fox, hit her nose. A loud, 'caw!' erupted from far off bushes, making her jump up and scaredly dash away into more clumps of grasses.
