Cyote suddenly stopped slinging mud all over his brothers pinto pelt and perked his ears. "Hey, Hero....was that a mare that passed by?" He asked as he shook off the mud from his pelt. He perked his ears and followed her scent.

War Hero
Stallion / playful / with his brother
"Yeah....hey!" He whinnied as Cyote shook himself, sending the sticky mud flying. "Cyote! Come back here!" He said as he trotted to catch up to his brother. He ran into Cyote when he stopped short. "What th....oh." He started to say but stopped short when he saw the mare and another stallion.

Badger noticed that a mare had seemed to get his attention. Her nickering caused him to look over with his ears pulled forward, a bit interested in what she might want. He stood up then took a slow bow and gave a simple neigh in response. His tail swished some while he took in the mare's stunning coat. His; a simple black and white, nothing special but hers looked like a blend of many colors.

Badger then slowly began to approach the mare, keeping his head a bit low showing he wasn't a threat of any kind. When he was about a few yards way he gave a simple greeting, "Hello there.."

A slender, near-black ear flicked back towards the path she had just traveled as an interesting sound was cut off. The noise had almost seemed like a kelpie's voice, albeit one that wasn't extremely close. A half smile lit up the lower half of Kassandra's face, almost as if she knew what was going on with Cyote and War Hero. Her attention was drawn back to the stallion under the tee when he replied to her with a neigh. Her right ear remained aimed back the way she'd come, but the other was focused on the paint as he walked up with head low. Her brindled sides inflated and deflated quickly with a huff, she'd realized he was trying to appear nonthreatening and it was nice to know that so far he had innocent intentions.
She looked at him with curiosity and widened her smile as her way of showing she wasn't a threat. "Hello, hello. Who might you be?" She replied in an open tone that invited him to share information easily.

He laughed, but that last question once again made his face go red..

He couldn't say it. Best to leave it as she didn't know it happened.

"Hey you look like you need to lay down, lets just go to the lake so you can get a drink and chill."
He tryed to hide his red face as he walked past her towards the lake

"ok thanks dex" she said to him gratefully. She still wanted to know what happened when he didn't continue. She walked to the lake with him, with a bit of a drowsy walk.

Blinded By Night Terrors

On her own ~ Loves no one ~ Feeling alert, but slipping into sleep

Night swung her head around once more. She looked carefully but saw no one, snorting, she turned and wandered towards where she would settle to sleep. She chose a sheltered tangle of roots where she lay down amongst the smooth tendrils and closed her eyes.
The last thing she heard was the wind buffeting the leaves above her.

Badger let his ears flick as a couple more stallions approach him and the mare. "I am Badger and who might you be?" he questioned as his eyes drifted to the other stallions. They seemed interested in the mare he was with and if they wanted to talk with her, then that was fine with him. He would simply take his place under the tree again. Badger swished his tail and took a small step back, not wanting to get into another fight with another stallion. The mare he had only just met seemed different than what he had expected, she was sweet and not afraid to approach anyone like Badger thought. He pawed at the ground, leaving a small dent in the earth; his eyes drifted to look down at it then he looked at the three kelpies that were now around.

Just Performing- it really sucked because i was getting up at 6 every morning to go to training for 2 hours with my horse who wanted to finish his breakfast and then the day before it gets rained out.....
