Deathrage looked at Moonshade, "As you wish," He said kindly, then looked ather suprisingly, "Well of course, you are, there's no dening it," He said, licking her forhead. Did she like him also? Was he being to forward? He wanted her as a mate, but was she ready? He would admit that later, right now she waas prabably tired.

Moonshade's eyes went huge. "Thank you..." she whispered, feeling her cheeks grow hot. She looked up slowly, and smiled a Deathrage sweetly, feeling more happy than she'd ever been in moons. She licked his chest and rested her head back down without another word. She closed her eyes, letting out a small breath.

Birdsong lifted her head just as she sat down in a shady corner of the den, right when Tidalfront appeared. She smiled warmly and dipped her head, not feeling the least bit snappy or rude today. It was such a peaceful day out, so bright, sunny, and happy. Why ruin it? She purred at Tidalfront and lifted her head, her eyes glinting.
"Hello, it's quite beautiful out today, isn't it?" she murmured peacefully, twitching her ears towards the nursery entrance and outside. She wrapped her slick black tail over her slender laws tightly, and cast her eyes down towards the kits. They tumbles and played while some slept peacefully.

Applesong nodded her head in thanks. Turning her attention back to the kits. She hoped Flickerkit would be a good older sister. Especially over the next moon. After that her first kit will finally be going off into the life of an apprentice. Unless, of course, Flickerkit gets into enough trouble that Spiderstar that he delays her training. That is unlikely though, considering the effect she has on her father.

Wiseheart smiled and her eyes softened as he thanked her. She spoke quietly and sweetly, "Your welcome." When she finished, she laid down close beside the nest and curled up into a heap of beautiful tortoiseshell fur. She wrapped her tail around her and covered her nose up, purring softly.

Tidalfront let out a soft purr as well, flicking a glance out of the entrance of the nursery. The peaceful weather must also be affecting her mood. It indeed was a beautiful day, one of the best she'd had in awhile. There would most definetely be a beautiful sunset later when the time came, and she would be leaving the camp to see it. "Yes, it is," she agreed, nodding. "I've just been out hunting around the forest area. Caught a few voles. They're all out scurrying around for prey or basking in the sun." She remained seating, watching the kits tussle around. "By the way, have you an apprentice?"

She watched Flickerkit discreetly from the corner of her eye and couldn't help but feel the want to mentor the young she-kit, if her mentor hadn't been preselected already. She hadn't received an apprentice yet, and even though she probably wasn't most suited to mentoring due to her temper when she grew impatient, she found that those who had mentored before were usually held in higher regards than those who hadn't.

Birdsngs gaze suddenly darkened to a very deep blue. She watched the kits with a certain, certain hunger, that seemed to scare herself, really. She didn't know how much she wanted an apprentice. Maybe one would be good for her. She hadn't yet received one.
"No, I haven't" she murmured absentmindly, focusing on other things, her mind wandering. She shuffled her paws, suddenly anxious for something for them to do, for them to work on. Her claws sheathed and unsheathed, scraping at the well-worn dusty ground of the nursery den.

The tom pressed his nose into his mother's fur, absorbing her scent as much as he could. He wished he could have been there to help her, and his half-sister. But then he would be dead, alongside his mother. That would not be a good thing. Littlehawk breathed out and closed his eyes, wishing it all would end. It did in a way; the problems faded- hope filling the empty space. He had an apprentice to train.

Tidalfront nodded slowly. The fact that Birdsong hadn't been assigned as mentor yet comforted her. With all the ceremonies going about, it felt as if over half the Clan had already received apprentices. A sudden surge of anger rose within her. Was she simply not good enough for Spiderstar to be appointed as a mentor for someone? Why did it seem as if she was excluded from this mentoring business? She channeled all of her emotions into a hard stare that went straight ahead.

"Oh. At least there's more kits coming out all the time," she responded in a bitter voice, which was a detail contradicting her words.

She stopped and glanced around with a nod. "Yes, this is good." However, she simply sat. There really was no need for hunting; there was already so much prey. And she had only wanted to get away from camp. Suddenly she had the urge to just sit and watch sunlight dance on the water before it fell below the horizon. "On second thought, why dont we go to the river in on the moor?"

Flickerkit stormed out of the nursery. It had become much too crowded for her. As she exited, she could help but notice something from the corner of her eye. Tidealfront's tail was flicking in an annoycing fashion amd she growled to herself. Glancing at the two warriors, she crept behind them and pounced on the accursed tail, caging it between her claws. "Better," she murmured.

Birdsong snapped her head around, cracking her gaze from the kits to fix a narrowing stare at Tidalfront. What was with the bitterness, and the sound of hatred in her voice?
"Yes, with green leaf, there will come new litters, more kits, more apprentices. More of a chance to be mentors" she said, with a hint of a warning in her voice, to not take it as far as it needs to go. There will be plenty of chances to become a mentor. Well, it's not the most important thing in the world, is it? Just serving your clan at the fullest is any of an honor than it should be.
