lightning huddled next to pitch

Pitch wasn't sure what he was supposed to say, so he just pressed himself closer to Lightning and held his head up. "Leafstar's right. My mother was Coralfur and Coldnose was my father. I'm not going to beg or demand that any of your trust me, but I will ask for a fair chance to prove loyalty to Leafclan."

Fleckedpelt still wasn't sure. One cat that was loyal to Deathclan was one to many for her. But if Pitch and Lightning really were like Pheonixblaze and were really loyal to Leafclan... "I'm not saying I'll trust either of you, Leafclan born or not. But I'm willing to give you a chance to prove yourselves.", the grey she-cat suddenly spoke up, "That's what Leafclan cats do. You'll still have to work hard to prove yourselves."

"what about that other one?" yowled foxdapple

lightning flinched

"Lightning is a friend and I ask that, if you're willing to give me the same chance to prove my loyalty to Leafclan, that she recieves the same treatment.I'll take responsibility for her actions and keep an eye on her myself.", Pitch replied, looking at the elder.

foxdapple dipped his head "very well" he turned to leafstar "i will accept them"

leafstar dipped her head to the elder then mewed "now we have a ceremony to do, silverpaw, dovepaw come here"
