Oakpelt;;

Oakpelt flipped around quickly, not leaving enough time for Hox to stand. He dug his claws into the black tom's pelt, snarling.

Palepaw;;

"N-no! I have to help! I was supposed to be like daddy!" Palepaw choked, tears welling up in his eyes.

Duckpaw;;

Duckpaw peered around the medicine den at his brother. He'd been listening. "What? That isn't fair!"

His eyes widened in horror as he curled himself once more around his son. "Isn't there a herb or something that could cure him...?" Iceheart asked desperately, guilt clawing at him. It was his fault Palepaw was so sick and weak. And now he couldn't even be an apprentice.

Hox
He shrieked, trying to twist away from the rogue. Oh, why had he tried to be a hero? Hox tried clawing at the tom, but it wasn't much use.

Speckleflame shook her head. "The only thing would be strengthening herbs, but those won't even help him walk." She replied solemnly. "Maybe he can join the elders, at least there, he won't be lonely."

Palepaw;;

"Please no! No, fix me, please!" Palepaw whispered, tears now freely pouring down his face.

Oakpelt;;

Oakpelt dug his teeth into the tom's scruff, his tail lashing.

(if palepaw literally cannot move, he will die)

Tinystar gave a soft snort of amusement. "The new home hype probably died down a couple of moons ago." He said. The cats who were supposed to find them a new home had been gone for at least 2 moons now, perhaps longer. He didn't doubt that they were doing their best to find a suitable place but in the meantime cats were getting restless. "Like what? We are already stretched thin trying to guard a territory without borders and stay warm in a makeshift camp with no dens. Not to mention the prey shortage of leaf-bare."

[ ooc;; nonono. I didn't mean he can't move at all(sorry if it seemed like it), rather he can't move much. he can stretch his legs now and then, move his head(not rn tho, he's not recovering yet), small things like that. He's like Sunspot was ]

[ ooc;; hmmmmmm. I mean I suppose he could stand up for short periods of time, but he'll always be really very shaky and can't do any tasks unless it's really really simple,, idk, I want him to suffer because I don't play any cats that I can recall that are hurt like that ]

(that might work but he has to be able to walk, even if only short distances. and he should be forced to try and walk often. staying stationary all the time isn't good for lots of reasons. if someone doesn't make him move around he'll have problems. and by problems i mean death)
