Flintfoot

Walking out of camp, Flintfoot climbed up a tree and sat. Glancing around, he spotted Flamewing and Riverstorm. With a snort, he curled his tail.

Greenstar sighed. "Well, Winterheart, you didn't exactly break the warrior code. You did what you thought was right for the clan, you challenged a cat on our territory. Also, the she-cat's death wasn't your fault. You just pushed her into a tree, causing a branch to fall on her. It isn't like you willed that branch to fall." He said soothingly. "You shouldn't beat yourself up over it, Winterheart."

Riverstorm rolled his eyes. "You ate my dust last time, are you really sure you want to go up against me, the speed master, again?" He asked, wearing a cheeky smile.

Flamewing waved her tail up at Flintfoot in greeting, but looked back down at Riverstorm. "Speed master?" She snorted. "More like the snail master." She teased. "Besides, I'm like a cheetah! Gone in a flash." She said in a hollow voice, nudging the tom's side.

"That's not the problem though. Now something has happened to Ashclaw and Snowsprint. They're bond...It's broken. And when I even bring up whats wrong they snap." She said, looking up. "None of us are talking."

Ashclaw looked around then smiled and Shadowheart. "Wanna go hunting or something?" He asked. "Get your mind off things."

Flicking his ear in return, he jumped down and joined the two cats. " How are you? " He asked kindly, looking between Flamewing and Riverstorm.

"Oh, I'm good." She said politely. "Besides, I'm about to beat Riverstorm in a race!" She puffed out her chest, boasting. "How are you?"

Kestrelflame's heart dropped as she watched Flintfoot and Flamewing. She looked crestfallen.
