Fawnstumble~

Fawnstumble was awoken by a rustling.She open her eyes and stared up at the few crispy brown leaves the still clung to the near bare branches of the tree above her.After getting comfortable with the light Fawstumble rolled over onto he rback and her eyes caught an apprentice,or who she thought was an apprentice.If her memory served her correctly the cat was Silverkit,or was it Silverpaw?All these thoughts and memories to keep track of,she's to big to be a kit so she must be an apprentice...hmmm but there wasn't any apprentice ceremonies recently... She thought,"It's not that bad kit,"She smiled,and quietly added,"though I must agree that Rainclan was a pretty exciting place,but you must understand that everyone is trying to make this makeshift camp work."

The tortoiseshell nodded happily,before noticing how skinny the warrior looked,"Okay!" Birdchatter suddenly felt guilty....I give nothing in return to these hardworking warriors and I still eat the food that they need....She tried to think of ways she could help the clan.

Shadowpaw dips his head to signal that he was listening. He lies down in front of the she-cat, prepared for anything that she may tell him. Maybe they were a bit similar in a way. She seems to have been through so much...I hope sharing her thoughts will make her feel better. He fixes his gaze on her to make sure that he didn't seem rude.

"It was a day like today." Songpaw started,"when my mother and I were looking for this special plant that gives water, but then we were attecked by this monstar that had sharp teeth and claws. Thats how I get these two cuts under my left eye." Songpaw moved her fur abit under her left eye to show the cuts."We ran and ran until we get back to our tree hollow. The next morning my mother said she was going hunting and would come back at night, like always. But she never come back that night. So I wanted for a couple more days. Never returned. I was getting hungry so I tate myself to hunt. It was a quarter moon since my mother disapered and ever time I cate my pray and thinking that she still here, I cried. And ever time I cried, I lost more courage. Until I mete you, Shadowpaw." Songpaw smiled at the apprentice,"When you stoped me from thinking of running away. You gave courageing words, and thats what gave me courage back. So I thank you." Songpaw laied down and gave Shadowpaw a lick on the cheek and smiled."I was only 2 moons when it abined. And like you said 'forget the post'."

Spiderpaw nodded to Cloudstrike and watched as Shiverwhisker came over. "Maybe Shiverwhisker could take us? He's an adult, and Medicine Cat. We'll make it a quick trip, too." He meowed, looking at his mentor, who didn't look very good. This was the big reason as to why he wanted to make the trip quicker then normal. Shiverwhisker looked like he had been through a lot, they all had, but it seemed that Shiverwhisker hadn't gone anything to help himself. "Yeah, I was just talking about that now. Maybe Falconpaw and Sprucepaw can come with us? They'll be good at getting herbs, and we'll be able to carry lots."

"Sounds good to me." he meowed with a dip of his head as he padded up to the two cats. "The more mouths to carry herbs the better." He flicked his grey tail in a tired fasion, giving his clumped chest fur a few licks. It had a funny tang to it, but the medicine cat figured it was due to lack of a good grooming. I'll give myself a good groom tonight. he told himself, But first thing's first. I'm starving.

Duskpaw sat there in the grassy field before him in awe of the color in his orbs. Yet, in a bit of guilt he wished his friends where to share this view with him. Viperpaw, Wolfpaw, and even Lightpaw he knew would love to see this golden color like he is, but he didn't want to leave to go find them sence he of course didn't want to return back to the forest that only housed birds and other cats. Where he sat he could see tiny dragonflies zooming below the grass, even a ladybug or two, he could notice a butterfly again, and so much more to offer then the forest could. He knew he would return soon so he would not upset the leader, but he wished to see more. Glancing back again he took a second to memorize the scene before run down the tiny hill and disappearing into the golden grass where his black pelt did stick out of the yellow like a dot. He didn't go to far in, but hanged at the edge where he could almost reach up to touch the dragonflies.

Shadowpaw purrs when Songpaw licks his cheek. It felt nice to be appreciated for once in his life. "Well, I'm glad you have gained your hope and courage." he mews. He flattens back the she-cat's fur to hide the scars again. "There, that's better." he adds. "I don't have a very...happy past either." the tom adds, the purrs fading. His eyes cloud a bit, but he doesn't show any sort of depression. He was long-since over depression from his past, but he was still pained by it.

The tortoiseshell she-cat could hear the strain in her friend's mew, and decided they'd better hurry to find Duskpaw. After all they'd all be on the move tomorrow! Managing to catch his scent she began to track it. "This way!" she called back at Wolfpaw before plunging into the long grass. Golden eyes caught a flash of black against the plains though and breathed out a sigh of relief she hadn't even realized she'd been holding. "There he is!" She mewed, and the weight in her chest lifted. Without waiting for Wolfpaw, surely she could catch up if need be, Viperpaw raced towards him and tackled him. "Do you enjoy making your friends worry like that?" she asked incredulously as she looked down at him, though she wasn't angry, just a bit upset. But she was angry with herself for showing she was upset. So much for being miss calm-and-collected, she thought to herself, not realizing that Duskpaw could hear her. She'd forgotten that he could possibly hear her thoughts through touch as she could his.

Otterkit yawned widely as he woke up some from his relatively short-lived nap. Frankly he'd been worried Sephora would be gone when he woke up, but was glad to see that was not the case since he was still buried in her warm fur. 'Sephora wouldn't do that anyhow. At least I don't think she would.' The Stoneclan kit looked up at the white she-cat then and reached up to touch his nose to her own. "Hi," he purred. "I don't wanna go to sleep yet...I might miss out...so can you tell me a story?" he asked the loner while behind him his tail flickered hopefully. Sephora was his new friend and he knew she knew some stories, because every cat has a story to tell in his mind.

DuskBlaze yawned widely as she crawled out from underneath her bush. Her belly grumbled loudly and the nervous queen couldn't help but grin sheepishly before padding over to the fresh-kill pile. Once there she spotted BirdChatter and though the calico was pretty reserved around strangers, she still found it in her to smile faintly at her clanmate. 'Might as well start somewhere after all.' "Hello BirdChatter..." she mewed softly before picking out a good sized thrush for herself with a dainty paw. She noticed the expression on the young queen's face and before taking a single bite of her chosen prey she sighed and turned to the she-cat."What's wrong dear? You look rather uncomfortable, is something the matter?"

Songpaw purrs as Shadowpaw flattens back her fur to hide the scars again,"Oh... Thank You." she mewed quitely,"So, what abined in your past?" She asked,"But if you don't want to tell about it, thats OK. When do you want to go and introduce ourselves to the other apprentices." She said alittle nervously. "Can you keep a secart?" She asked.

Wolfpaw drooped down, before Viperpaw perked up and dashed off. It was a few moment's before she had realised that she had no idea where she was, nor where Viperpaw was. Wolfpaw wasn't as brave as before; She nervously twitched.
"Viperpaw?" She softly squeaked. "Duskpaw?"

Wolfpaw, being herself, wasn't really nervous, only shy. A whole field of golden wheat was infront of her, layers and layers. Taking a few steps foward, Wolfpaw saw a barren space with a few trees.

'Maybe they headed there.' She thought, padding over there. Wolfpaw jumped on the rock that was sitting and leaning on the tree it was next to, unable to see the others.
"Viperpaw, please, don't try to trick me." Wolfpaw mewed, jumping off and padding away again, no set idea in mind, as she had no idea where she was.

{Just wanted to point out they're already pretty far from the old forest. They've been travelling away from it for three moons. The new forest is pretty far away, too; a week's travel, at least. All that's nearby is open grassland with a few trees scattered around. ...Sorry, I don't mean to complain. ^^; Just want to make sure everyone's on the same page about where the clan is.
Remember, you can always check the setting. I even update it with the weather, and time of day. ^^}
