"Okay, well pine bark is to relieve and reduce bruises and aches right? And moss..." Wisp thought for a minute. "It's to soak up liquids, like blood," She gave a slight shudder "And water so you can give someone a drink when they're too weak to get it themselves.... Right?" Wisp wondered nervously.

Apollo could feel his face burning. "Thanks, Phantom." Slower this time, Apollo began to pick the blackberries. Occasionally he would eat one or two, just to satisfy his hunger so he would have enough energy to complete the task. After he collected a suitable pile, he wandered over to a patch of wild mushrooms. "What about these? I haven't seen them before... Can we eat them?" He leaned down to sniff them, but immediately recoiled when he smelled the putrid stench of the mushrooms. "Gross!" he exclaimed.

Phantom looked at the wild mushrooms. He sniffed them, to see if they had poison or any unhealthy things in it. "Not sure, well, it smells..bad." He answered, covering his nose right the second from the horrid smell, and went back to blackberry picking. "Apollo, you could thread the berries into twigs, to make them easier to carry when you're done picking." Phantom advised. He picked some more blackberries until a small pile was formed. Phantom gathered some twigs, and stabbed the berries onto a twig. He did the same to the other sticks and twigs, soon having four sticks with berries stabbed into it.

Shiko nodded to Wisp, "Moss is used for that and if you eat it, it helps the blood clot if it won't by itself. Moss is one of the most precious herbs." Shiko scooped up the herbs with one of her tails and returned them to the store. She then brought out cherries, mint, daisy, and primrose pollen. These were some of the most basic treatments, she looked expectantly at Wisp.

"Sorry," Apollo muttered. He started piercing the blackberries and stringing them on the sticks. It was painstaking work, but it was necessary to bring all of this fruit back to the camp.

Wisp carefully listened to everything Shiko said, storing it in her brain for future use. "Okay. I think I know some of these." Wisp let out a breath, feeling more confident. "The cherries, apart from being delicious, help with pain." She smiled at her small joke and then continued. "That flower is a daisy, and I don't think it does anything by itself, but when combined with the mint, it makes a powerful healing poultice. Am I right?" She asked, already knowing the answer. Suddenly, her heart dropped. I know what that is... Come on Wisp, think! "And that last one is... Um... You put it on wounds to stop bleeding right?" She inquired cautiously.

"Mhmm. Very well done." she said to her apprentice encouragingly. "Alright, one last batch of herbs, then we'll practice other things." Shoving the basic herbs back into their places, she pulled out some more challenging herbs. These were more advanced, but Wisp had to learn them. She lay alfalfa, cornflower, wormwood and lotus in front of her apprentice. "Do you know what these are?" she asked with a slight smirk.

((Dude, I've been working on an herb list, I think I have a remedy for everything... er, almost everything. xD))

Oh no... Wisp hung her head ashamed and disappointed. I was doing so well. Holding back tears, she said quietly, "The only one I know is the lotus, but I don't know what it's for." Wisp sniffled, and tried not to cry.

((Ps, I went through every other page of this RP and copied all the alchemist stuff Shiko's done since page one. xD))

Shiko lifted Wisp's chin up with her tail and smiled at her reassuringly. "Don't worry, these are advanced herbs, I hadn't expected you to know what they were. Firstly, yes, this is lotus." she said, pointing to the soft pink flower, "It helps cure fevers when eaten, the next one is wormwood. It's good for parasites. Next is cornflower, it's for stomachaches. Last is alfalfa, it's good for sore throats." Shiko smiled and scooped up the herbs, putting them back, then bringing out a cactus needle, some thin vine and a large leaf. She set them in front of Wisp. "Now to practice your stitching." Shiko ripped the leaf in half with her sharp claw, "Try to stitch it together, but you have to thread your needle first. We're going to practice this every day, because it requires extreme precision."
