Moonclaw took off with a great start. He smelled rabbit, mouse, bird... the list went on.

"Here, have some tansy." Feathermist mewed, pushing the herbs towards her. "What all has been bothering you?"

Sparrowthorn lept after a squirrel and snapped its neck cleanly, stopping to say a quick prayer of thanks to StarClan.

Gingerfur looked down at the herbs. "The cough." She said, then added, "My leg. ." She looked down sadly at where her back left leg once was. "It's been giving me some pain."

"Eat the herbs, dear. They don't taste THAT horrid." She smiled lightly. "Would you say your leg is aching? Or just hurting?"

((I think larks are so pretty...anyone else agree? (Sorry for randomness) ))

Gingerfur slowly ate the herbs, then looked back at Feathermist. "Aching." She said, giving no explanation on why her leg bothered her so much. She blamed the twolegs.

"Then I think Goldenrod will be just the thing for you." Feathermist decided, beginning to gather the herbs. "How did this happen the the first place?" She asked curiously.

[ That's cool. I like larks and doves. :D ]

Gingerfur moved her tail, showing that she only had three legs. "I once was a kittypet." She said, "Soon after I had Sandkit, the twolegs killed my mate and took my leg." She said, remembering the day the twolegs killed her mate, and she got hit by the car. She was lucky she survived.

Feathermist frowned, her eyes glittering sadly. "I'm very sorry." She apologized, "That must have been hard on you." She pushed the herbs towards Gingerfur and sat down, curling her tail over her paws.

Gingerfur ate the herb. She looked back up, nodding slowly. "Yes, it was. And it hasn't really affected Sandkit, he was so young when it happened. About a moon old actually. He was too young to understand, and he still doesn't. Hunting and fighting with three legs is hard, and that's why I was going to ask Jaystar if I could become a elder soon. ."
