He glanced over at the fresh-kill pile and saw Littlestar walking over to it. "I hope they do too," Ripplefang muttered bitterly but it wasn't directed at Cinderstep. He moved his gaze away from his aunt and tried to focus his attention on the other warrior in front of him, although it was hard.

"G-good job" he purred turning ba.ck to the apprentance, smiling and purring softly. he nudged Blizzardclaw softly and smiled slightly.

instead of going hunting, starlingvine sat outside of the warrior's den, observing as the last scraps of food from the kill pile were taken. the bracing crisp air was surprisingly refreshing, it's coldness freeing the molly from her morning grogginess. the trees that previously burned in flaming reds and golds were now shedding their leaves - an alarming sign. prey was always harder to catch during leaf-bare even before these disastrous play of events. if things carry on how they are, it will be a miracle if the clan were to survive this leaf-bare. glancing up at the blanketed sky, the feline flicked her tail and hoped that this would mean that water will begin to fall so that she could quench her thirst. however, with the recent luck that had been floating around the clan like a bad omen, it probably won't happen and she would just have to suffer with annoying cottonmouth.

"Thank you," Cloudfoot said, dipping his head again to Flamerunner. After he watched him make his way toward the fresh-kill pile, the deputy turned away and resumed his trip around the clearing. He noticed Littlestar and Icecracker having a conversation, but decided not to intervene. Close-by, he saw Starlingvine sitting just outside the warrior's den. Blinking his odd-eyed gaze, Cloudfoot approached her, mentally selecting his second candidate for the border patrol. "Morning, Starlingvine," he meowed, dipping his head to the she-cat. He tilted his head so that his good ear was facing her. The warrior looked like she was in discomfort, but Cloudfoot decided not to address it directly. "How are you?" the tom asked.

Pinepaw growled to himself and quickly escaped back into the apprentice's den, curling back up in his nest. Despite having eaten, the hunger pangs only seemed to get worse. The apprentice hated this way of living, despite having lived like this for the majority of his life. He just wanted to be back at his mother's belly. "Why did StarClan have to abandon us?" he thought aloud, "It's not fair." With sadness gripping Pinepaw's heart, he dug his nose into the fur of his tail, trying to relax. He knew he wouldn't be able to sleep with the pain in his belly and the chatter outside, but he wanted to at least relax before his mentor or another cat came to fetch him.

Blizzardclaw smiled some as the other warrior had playfully nudged him and returned it once. He looked up at the sounds of birds calling after each other. “They’re close. Let’s show them how it’s done,” he mewed softly to Rockhopper. He got ready, doing what had Rockhopper had done for the other bird he had caught.

Rockhopper smiled and slowly crept around the other side, his tail down and lightly dragging across the grass, not makeing a sound as he went to the other side of the birds. He looked up and then met eyes with Blizzardclaw. he nodded to the birds that were flocked on the ground and then to the tree.
'You catch them from the ground, and ill get the ones that try and fly' he did his best to signal to the other warrior as he silently but quickly climbed up the tree over the flock of birds

starlingvine's ears swirled as she heard the steps of another cat get louder, clearing approaching her direction. lowering her gaze away from the clouds, two mismatched eyes were looking back at her, it was clearly the deputy of the sierraclan, cloudfoot. swiping her tongue over her muzzle, she stared at the white tom absently whilst he talked pleasantries that she couldn't care for. the molly guessed that her plan to laze around for the day was soon to be crushed; there was no other reason that cloudfoot would come over. with a tight smile spread across her muzzle, she choose not to waste her time answering his question and decided to get straight to the point, "what do you want?" the tabby feline understood how rude it sounded but she didn't have the patience, less than normal due to her insistent hunger and thirst, to exchange small talk.

Blizzardclaw watched Rockhopper and nodded, nearly reading his mind as he signaled him. He was nearly ready to spring after two of them but was waiting for Rockhopper to get into position. When he saw that the young warrior was almost ready he pounced onto the ones closest to him with his claws out. The clan needed this prey, his belly needed it too. Smelling the fresh-kill made him want to eat it then but he ignored it to pounce on another that hadn’t started flying yet.

As soon as the birds started flying, he sprang forwords. Leaping into the air and grabing a crow in his mouth he then flailed his claws out, knocking down two more birds. Droppin the one in his mouth, he quickly killed the other two he got. he let out a happy growl and purred, adding his first bird to the others. "T-that was g-great!" he mewed purring as he padded over to Blizzardclaw and his kills.

Foxpaw sat diligently and quietly as he watched the camp around him. leaves were falling all around him as he sat in silence. He just got back from training by himself and was feeling the pain from his muscles in full effect now as he was finally taking a moment to sit and breathe. His emerald eyes scanned the bustling of the clan members and finally rested on the kill pile. He cleared his throat. Foxpaw was too prideful to take anything from the kill pile when he was perfectly capable of hunting himself, but he was tired now and sore. He went to take a step forward but decided against it last moment and walked back towards the hunting grounds. He could push himself a little further for today, he thought to himself.

Silvermist looked around the camp with a small smile upon her muzzle. She was lost deep in thought thinking about her brother; Blizzardclaw. She missed when his kits were young. Now they are all apprentices and she no longer played with them. They were all so busy training to be warriors anyway. She gave a small sigh. She wanted kits of her own but her face didn't falter despite feeling a little sad. She swished her tail for a moment and then got up to patrol something. She didn't really know, all she did know was life would get better.

Honeymoon was sitting down at the fresh kill pile eating himself a vole and looking up to the sky. Not only was it easier to gobble down his food while looking up but he was also trying to tempt the sun to come out and play with him on this cloudy day. When he finished his meal he sighed in disappointment that the sun was not peaking out and dancing upon his tan colored pelt.
