The young pup smiled at Willowstep. She decided the medicine dog was a kind dog. She also decided she didn’t have to defend herself in front of Mouseheart. That and he sort of started the confrontation. “I’m just a pup. I don’t need to eat much before I’m full. I’m sorry you got hurt.” She said in a friendly tone, her tail wagging slightly. She then went to lay close to Fallensnow but not in the way of Willowstep or Ashpaw.

He heard the medicine dog and got some of the needed help on his way to the other dogs " I got them, so what do I do?" he asked he could already know, but there was not being many birthing dogs on his training times, so this was pretty much new to him.

She gave a little look over at Mouseheart, when the omega talked about Daisypup, she didn't really like the way he talked about her, but she didn't really have time to say anything when the worst pain hit her, it was so sudden that she startled. Laying down to the bed Willowstep called her to go at, she tried to relax her body.

The large brute sat near the entrance to the camp, his tail thumping the ground slowly. His ears were held erect as he sat there, slowly scanning the camp and watching the dogs interact with one another. Ravenhaze was never one to just straight out talk to someone. He didn't really mind not talking to anyone. He preferred to be this way anyway. Letting out a sigh, he lied down with his head on his paws. He closed his eyes and began to let his mind wander doing nothing in particular otherwise.

Emberstorm crept real slowly and sniffed along the bushes. There! A rabbit — it's nose twitching as it busily munched on the green undergrowth. Turning around she whispered to Eaglepaw, "Why don't you give it a try?"

Mouseheart bristled. He staggered to his feet angrily, his limbs trembling with the effort, and growled, "Fine then! I've been wanting to get out of this awful place for the past day now." His furious expression became a sneer, though he had to force the contempt into the gesture, and he added under his breath, "It wouldn't be the first time an outpacker was prioritized over an omega now, would it?" With that, he limped his way to the entrance of the medicine den, every part of him aching with each step. He passed by the poppy seeds that Willowstep had offered him without even glancing at them, wanting more to prove a point than to ease his excruciating pain. He shot Daisypup a nasty glare, attempting to be intimidating with a small curl of his lip over a gleaming fang, before he climbed out. One of the deep, healing gouges on his flanks began to bleed slightly from the movement, but he ignored it and continued stumbling through camp, fuming.

Daisypup watched Mouseheart leave not at all intimidated. She was actually confused. Why had he left when he clearly needed to rest his wounds. “Maybe I should have left. Mouseheart needs rest for his wounds and they looked pretty bad too...” She sighed feeling bad for Mouseheart. She wanted to take the poppy seeds to him and apologize but she felt he just needed time alone. If she were him she would have wanted to be left alone to heal her wounds. “It’s my fault he left isn’t it...” She said not really expecting an answer. She wanted to get on good terms with him....eventually.

She shakes her head to Daisypuo "no he himself decided to leave the den, so don't worry about that too much" she said to the pup, wondering why did the omega being so negative toward the pup, was it because of his rank.

“He could have at least taken the poppy seeds. His wounds looked painful...How are you doing, Fallensnow?” Daisypup asked. She still worried about Mouseheart, despite the fact he hadn’t been very nice to her, but she guessed he wasn’t very nice to random strangers who joined the pack. Im sure he isn’t all that bad but I’ll leave him alone. she thought. She remained at a distance so Willowstep could help Fallensnow. Daisypup wanted to be there for Fallensnow. She wished she could do something to help but that was Willowstep and Ashpaw’s job. “Being a medicine dog must be a lot of hard work.” She said. She heard Ashpaw and was surprised. Had he not helped any birthing dogs? She watched and kept quiet, not wanting to distract the dogs helping Fallensnow any further.

Willowstep shot the pup an apologetic look, taking the bundle from ashpaw to open it on the ground. ”Alright Ashpaw, give her these berries to eat, they’ll numb the pain for now, and in the mean time, Fallensnow, you need to just eat whatever herbs we give you, they may be gross but in order for this to run smoothly they need to be eaten. And once finished ashpaw, give her some sort of thick stick for her to gnaw on while birthing, itll keep her busy and distract her, I’ve had dogs bite me in my days so I came up with the method” she told the apprentice, before sighing, about five or ten minutes the berries will kick in, that’s when you instruct her to push and force as much as she can, but make sure there are breaks between the compressions” she added. ”i myself will gather each pup and place them into the already set up warm moss beds, and once the whole procedure is finished Fallensnow can be walked to her pups to lick them clean and feed them” she said. She then turned to Daisypup, ”and don’t worry sweetie, you didn’t do anything wrong, mouseheart is just having an off day, but why don’t you help encourage Fallensnow” she suggested, ”now that everything is under control I need to go find mouseheart, one of his wounds reopened and I don’t want him to grow an infection” and with that she picked up another herb bundle, trotting out of the den to look for Mouseheart.

“Everything will be fine Fallensnow. Just do what Willowstep says and take a few deep breaths. It will help you a lot.” Daisypup knew about birthing she was the first in her litter, making her the oldest, before loosing her family. She knew a few deep breaths between birthing pups was needed. Sure she hadn’t seen it but she could still hear after she had been born. “When something doesn’t taste good it’s usually helpful.” She added thinking the herbs were probably disgusting. She was glad Willowstep let her stay to help encourage Fallensnow. She was good at encouraging others. It was part of her happy, positive and loyal personality. She smiled. “The key is to stay calm. It’s all worth it in the end.” She added, tail wagging as she was excited to see the pups.
