"Because I wouldn't let them!" Raccoonfang chuckled. He was happy now.

''I guess we are.'' Mottlefur replied. She caught a squirrel, but nothing else.

Tinystar finished dragging the body into the middle of their makeshift camp before he backed away. He remained nearby for only a few heartbeats longer before trotting off to give the grieving cats some space.

Pikeflower touched his nose to the top of Mistyclaw's head before moving away a bit to sit down. Because he no longer felt the affection for Mistyclaw that he once had he didn't feel the need to lay down beside her but she still had been his mate before and he wanted to pay his respects just by being here, whether Waterbone wanted him to be here or not. He was grieving more for a Mistyclaw who had long since faded away, strong, brave, loyal she-cat he once fell in love with and cared so deeply for, rather than the one who had actually died.

"I don't know." Wisteria said, "If you want to."

Jaquel;;

"N-now you.. you go now!" Jaquel squeaked.

Blaze;;

Blaze sat watching her.. well, mostly her friends, aside from Darkswift, hunt. She had already caught a squirrel for.. anyone who wanted it, she supposed.

One-eye;;

One-eye licked his mate's nose, a hopefully comforting gesture. "I'm sorry."

Boneface;;

"How?" Boneface didn't know if he was being inconsiderate or not. He didn't really ever think about that kind of thing.

Waterbone glared at Boneface. "Does it really matter?" She hissed.

Boneface;;

Boneface still revealed no emotion, since he still didn't have much a feeling towards this particular scenario. He shrugged. "Mm," was all he said.

[PopcornWaffle]

"She came back and she was in really bad shape. I guess Speckleflame missed something." Waterborne sighed, hanging her head.

[Weredog]

"I don't know." Wisteria said, "If you want to."

"Mhmm." Pikeflower gave the hum like response. He had long ago grieved Mistyclaw back when he realized that things would never be the same between them and they wouldn't be able to go back to the life he had wanted but that didn't mean he wasn't a little saddened by her actual death. One-eye's attempt to comfort him didn't do much to cheer him up but he really did appreciate the effort.

Boneface;;

"Oh." Boneface stepped back a few steps and sat down, since he really had no reason to grieve for her. He'd never even met her, honestly. He supposed if anyone asked him about it, he'd go and mourn for her, or if Waterbone or any of her family wanted him there.. for whatever reason. "Do you want me to go?"

One-eye;;

One-eye curled his tail around his mate, staring at Mistyclaw's limp body. Maybe she'd be happier in Starclan.

Shadowpaw;;

Shadowpaw had his face deeply embedded in his mother's fur, still sobbing.

Adderstrike;;

"So.. like, now?" Adderstrike meowed quietly. He appeared rather uncomfortable, nervous - what would she think of him? "C'mon, Adderstrike, stop it!" he mentally scolded himself.

Waterbone shook her head. Now that she had somebody that actually cared, she wanted to keep him around.

Mistyclaw looked around. She had unfinished business! She needed to be back down there! Now there was no way, and she would forever be stuck with the way things are.
