She stops running after she reaches the brook, which is frozen over. Something makes her fur stand on edge, but she cant quite name it. Maybe its Blacktooth, watching over her. No. He never really cared for her that much. Anyways, a friendly ghost wouldnt make her fur stand up. Freezepaw sits in the snow and curls up in a ball and let's herself fall asleep to calm herself down.

She rested her face on the cats flank. It was barely warm. She felt a slight pump. She raised her face. she rushed digging up snow crushing it till it was hard pressing it on his neck. he was still alive! the cold stopped the bleeding but there was little blood in his body left. she watched her deputy leave.

Freezepaw wakes up, feeling the warmth of another cat beside her. "W-whitefang?" She looks around her, totally forgetting what happened to Blacktooth, but only for a moment. Then everything rushes back to her. But she takes a deep breath in, trying to calm herself.
