Hazelstar

Hazelstar flicked her tail at the mention of a loner. "Well at least they didn't attack. I think it would be better for now just to make sure the patrols keep an eye out for any cats that don't belong to the clan" she said calmly, looking towards the entrance of camp.

She nodded. "Of course. I had to bring it up- that's all." She meowed, with a slight nod, before backing up a little. And where's Tallpaw?

Hazelstar

Hazelstar nodded "I'm glad you did. If you can, inform the others that if they see or smell anything that seems suspicious to inform me" she said getting up.

"Of course." She meowed, before dipping her head, and turning around, sitting in the shadows at the edge of camp.

Mapleheart

Blinking open her eyes, she yawned and shifted in her moss bed so she could stare down at the camp below. Not much seemed to be happening: Hazelstar was relaxing just outside of her den, the apprentices were sharing a meal of fresh squirrel and mouse, Lilykit was observing the older cats outside of the Nursery, Primrosepetal was probably in the medicine cat's den, and Mapleheart could just barely see Ravenwing sitting in the shadows near the Warrior's tree. I wonder where the other Warriors are at, she thought to herself. She stretched and leaped from branch to branch and landed rather clumsily in the clearing below. I'll have to work on my tree-climbing skills, she scolded herself. Turning, she saw Ravenwing watching her with glowing yellow eyes. Mapleheart's pelt burned in embarrassment, but she shook her head and trotted over to her Clanmate to try and start a conversation with the she-cat. "Hi, Ravenwing! Anything interesting happen while I was napping?" She asked, her gaze searching for her half-brother. Knowing Cloverleaf, he was probably out hunting to avoid socializing with the other cats. Mapleheart was about to start grooming herself when she realized Ravenwing was not paying attention. She appeared to be in a daze, with a troubled look on her face. "Hey, Ravenwing? What's wrong? Everything okay?" Mapleheart asked, concerned. She didn't know if something had happened while she was sleeping, or if some event occurred a long time ago, before Ravenwing joined the Clan. All she knew was that she had to do her best to try and bring happiness to her Clanmate.

The she-cat curled her tail around her paws, as she glanced around, her ears twitching. She let out a breath- weather it was calm, contented, or stressed. It was probably all three. A voice startled her- but she blinked a few times, pushing her shoulders back. "Hello, Mapleheart." She meowed slowly, drifting away into thought about what happened earlier. "Oh- oh, um, nothing I suppose. Just.. thinking." She meowed. It wasn't an entire lie- she was off track. "Me and Moonsplash chased a loner off the territory," she paused, "but then they escaped the borders. And she's still there. And I saw Cloverleaf coming towards her." She said with a light shrug.

Primrosepetal was sorting herbs, slightly humming to herself. "And.." she trailed off, eyeing her supplies. "I need more tansy, and juniper berries.." She mumbled to herself slowly, before standing up. The she-cat was quite small- there was no doubt about that.
She padded out of the medicine cats den, before glancing around. "I'll be fine on my own." She meowed to herself, before disappearing out into the forest.

Mapleheart

Mapleheart stared at Ravenwing. "A loner? Do you know what it looked like? She-cat or tom? Did it say anything to you?" She asked, a false hope emerging from within her. Maybe it's... but she shook her head, her eyes now dull. It can't be her. She was murdered by that rogue a long time ago. She sat up suddenly. "Cloverleaf? Interacting with another cat?" She meowed in disbelief. "That's new. He's been antisocial since-" but she abruptly cut herself off with a flick of her tail. "Never mind. I should go look for them," Mapleheart announced. "Thanks, Ravenwing!" She called out as she trotted away, heading toward the forest in search of Cloverleaf, Moonsplash, and the mysterious loner.

She nodded slowly. "Nope. Too quick. They just bolted." She said with a shrug, before lifting her head up, ears flicking. "Yeah.. I guess so." She meowed, before watching her. "Yeah. No problem." She meowed.

[rainswept.]

Kyra stopped on the way to her den. She could sense another... warrior, was it? She padded to the border and dipped her head to the tom. "Sorry, I won't cross the borders again. I didn't know." With that she trotted back to her den.

Cloverleaf

Cloverleaf turned away from Moonsplash and froze when he heard the leaves rustling in the tree. The loner- a pretty tabby she-cat- was climbing gracefully down the oak tree. She trotted up to him and said, "Sorry, I won't cross the borders again. I didn't know." And then she bounded away. "Wait!" Cloverleaf called out, but she disappeared behind some brambles. He looked back at Moonsplash, who was already far away, returning to camp. I could follow the loner to her den. But what if someone comes looking for me? How would I explain to Hazelstar? What if Mapleheart comes looking for me? She would freak if I left ShadeClan territory. He knew better than others what would happen to his half-sister if any cat went missing. I know she means well, and I know she just wants to protect me so I don't have to endure any more pain, but maybe it's time for her to stop acting like the overprotective always-hovers-by-my-side she-cat that she is, he thought. It's time for her to move on, and to stop re-living the past. Standing tall, Cloverleaf made his decision. He was going to follow the loner, no matter how many rules he broke, no matter how worried Mapleheart would be.

Mapleheart

She raced out of camp, trying to identify Moonsplash's and Cloverleaf's scent trail. Mapleheart found it quickly, along with the stale scent of Ravenwing's trail. Come on, come on, she pushed herself as hard as she could, pelting after her Clanmates as fast as possible. She caught sight of Moonsplash trotting in her direction and skidded to a halt, nearly crashing right into the she-cat. "Moonsplash! I heard about the loner. Where's Cloverleaf?" She asked, confused and out of breath. "He's still back there, by the giant oak tree," Moonsplash replied. With a flick of her tail, the she-cat continued on her way back to camp. "Thanks, Moonsplash!" Mapleheart called out and trotted in the direction of the tree. What could my half-brother possibly be thinking, alone with a loner? she wondered. When she got to the tree, Mapleheart definitely scented Cloverleaf, and some she-cat with no Clan smell. "Cloverleaf? Where are you?" She called out, trying to figure out where the tom could have gone. Suddenly, she realized that both scent trails went beyond ShadeClan territory. "Cloverleaf!" She shouted, more frantically. Mouse-brain mouse-brain mouse-brain...of course he would leave Clan territory, where it's safe, and nothing could get to him and...why would he leave? Mapleheart lost her train of thought as terror took over. "What if something happened to him? He would never leave Clan territory without telling anyone like this. What if this loner killed him? Oh, StarClan, I've already lost Mistycloud and Applekit, please don't make me lose Cloverleaf too!" She wailed. Get a grip! She tried to regain control of herself. It's just one loner. Cloverleaf can handle a battle with a loner. He's fine, she tried to convince herself, but she found she could never trust another non-Clan cat again. I have to find him. Loners and rogues have taken too much from me...from us. If anything happens to him, I will never forgive myself.

((Sorry, I kinda wrote a book lol. Mistycloud was Mapleheart's best friend and Cloverleaf's mate, and Applekit was Mapleheart's younger sister. The rogue- I'll call him Shadow- was Mapleheart's secret friend, and eventually gathered a band of loners and rogues and murdered Mistycloud, Applekit, and most of their old Clan. I think you can tell I'm making this up as I go, lol. But yeah. xD Maybe I'll fill out a form for Shadow later, who knows. xD))
