Dovepelt yawned and stretched out in her nest. She looked around the empty nursery before rising to her paws and slowly padding out of the nursery, heading over to the fresh kill pile as she felt her stomach grumble.

Hawkpaw sat in camp, flicking his tail with a smile on his face. He looked up at the sky, before quickly running to a bit of shade and laying down. Once he was comfortable, the young tom gently began to groom his striped fur.

"Ugh, and I thought you were supposed to be a medicine cat." Poppypaw turned around and flicked her tail in Venompaw's face; shooting him a contemptuous look over her shoulder at Venompaw.

Lunestar saw Poppypaw walking out of the medicine den, bruised and looking furious.
