It is early morning and everyone is waking up. There will be a couple patrols going out and as they come back a blizzard will hit. That's all I know ^^

'Maybe some prey will keep you warm.' Riverpaw meowed before shaking the snow off her fur. She grabbed the vole Flamefang had caught earlier. 'You might not want it, but its Something at least.' She meowed dropping it infront of Blackpaw. 'It looks like you have a small log of snow on your back' She purred, sweeping it off with her tail. That was oddly satisfying. She used her tail to make a straight line in the snow. Then she swept her tail in the snow and made a small mound. Then Riverpaw stepped in it, completely forgetting that Blackpaw was probably watching her in confusion.

Mosspaw carefully listened to Silkrot as she explained how to find herbs. It all seemed to be a bit difficult to her, but nonetheless she'd try to please her mentor. Once she told her to set off, she began bounding away, furry tail high in the air in order to keep snow off. She hoped that they'd be able to head back to camp soon, as fun as this was. It was starting to get very cold, and the snow flurries seemed to be falling a bit faster. Her paws were getting a bit numb, but the long fur that came between her toes kept them a bit warmer. Mosspaw now pressed her nose near the white ground, sniffing lightly in an effort to detect a scent. After several minutes, between sniffing and glancing for mounds--encountering only one that turned out to be no more than a rock--she caught a scent.

She hurried off toward it, mouth now open as she pulled in the scent. It was very tangy, tickling the top of her mouth and the inside of her nostrils. She was led to what looked like a fairly small mound, and after a bit of digging, she uncovered a pile of tormentil; not that Mosspaw knew this right away. It sported several flowers that contained four petals, and between them strands holding pollen. After a quick sniff and a bit of looking, she took a few guesses as to what it was an glanced over to Silkrot, who'd she traveled quite a distance from. "I found something! I think it's celandine or tormentil."

Blackpaw's eyes slowly became less wide and he looked down at the piece of prey before him. He blinked then looked at Riverpaw as she played with the snow. His head tilted in slight confusion but he shrugged and crouched down to take a bite. He was really hungry, he just didn't know it until now. He then continued to scarf down over half of the vole. Then he stopped and looked at Riverpaw. "Are you... hungry?.." he said in a quiet voice.

'Uhhh...' Riverpaw meowed in embarrassment as she felt the melted snowrun down her neck. 'You can eat it all it's fine by me, I can get some later after I've been on patrol' She meowed. Riverpaw didn't want Blackpaw to think that she was eating his food or anything. She breathed in the cold air. She actually preferred it more than hot air since this seemed way more refreshing. But it was a little chilly.

Darkblossom woke to a bout of cool air ruffling her silky pelt. She purred slightly
preferring the cooler breeze rather than the still warm days. She needed the ground
with her long claws, energy swelled up inside her. She rose from her warm nest,
grooming little tufts of fur that were sticking up on her flank. She stood, her
swollen belly brushing the ground as she made her way from the den. She stopped
to open her maw and tasted the cool air. The scents of her clan mates mingled
together. She lay in the middle of clan on her side, not really sunning. The light
was dim today, not nearly warm enough to go out sunning. Yet she just went
out for some fresh air, knowing she would have kits soon and would be trapped
in a den. Hunger poked at her belly like a claw, 5 more minutes, she told herself
as the cool breeze ruffled her pelt again.

Blackpaw nodded and quickly finished the vole. He sat up, licking his maw. His tail twitched and he flexed his claws. A chilling wind swept through the camp, ruffling Blackpaw's fur. It make him shiver and he unconsciously scooted closer to Riverpaw. Her warmth made him stop shivering. He looked down at Riverpaw then up at the sky. The clouds had gotten darker since the last time he looked at them.

Riverpaw sniffed the air. Even just sniffing the air made her cold. Every breath she exhaled was precious heat leaving her body. Wandering what to do, she made a pile of snow again. She spent quite a bit of time and effort into making something nearly as big as her. As Riverpaw played with her imagination, she noticed Blazepaw leaving the apprentice den. 'Hey Blazepaw! Come here a sec!' She yelled across the clearing. Riverpaw made Blazepaw stand on the other side of her "structure" and then tipped it. 'Riverpaw! I'm really cold!' Blazepaw moaned. Riverpaw swept the snow off Blazepaw as she did with Blackpaw. 'It's Fun though!' Riverpaw giggled.
