Grinning, Xannadariah watched Adonis and Savitri talk. Seeing Adonis wink made her happy, and glad that she was helping friendships along. Feet tapping, she again looked around and noticed there were a lot more dragons than she expected here, most of them strangers. Something about music just brought everyone together for a common reason: to party and have fun.
Suddenly, Xanna could barely take it. The bass throbbing, the melody flowing, and the harmony subtle, threshing lights everywhere...it was too much. "Adonis, Sav," Xanna said, grinning. "Shall we dance and show everyone how it's done?" She winked at Adonis and glanced at Sav through the sides of her glowing yellow eyes.

"Well, I haven't really tried dancing much before," Adonis admitted in a low rumble, then looked a bit longingly toward the dance floor, "But hey, why not? I'm sure I can pull a few fancy moves out of somewhere, right?" He winked at the girls as the bass made his body want to move, the music urging him along toward the dance floor. He offered them each an arm and added, "Come along with me, won't you, my lovely dance partners? Xanna's got the right idea here. You gotta flaunt what you've got, right?" He was a little nervous about not dancing well in front of them, but he'd never let it show. His face was a mask of calm and cool, eyes dancing already.

Laughing, Xannadariah took his arm. "I'm sure you'll do just fine," Xanna said assuringly. "Dancing is just letting your body move. There's really no right or wrong way to do it you just...do. Like this," Leading the way, Xanna started to dance, shaking her hips and turning around in time to the beat.

Sav took an arm. "Let's strut our stuff and go wild!" Her feet tapped as she spun. She copied Xanna.

Alice walked in calmly. Everyone here seemed to be nervous! She snickered slightly. Not been to a rave, huh? Grinning, she strutted happily over to the dancefloor, and busted some moves. She looked good, and she knew it. I wish I had invited Maple. she thought, spinning round. Being a good dancer was no good if you had no one to dance with. Or even talk to.

Adonis felt like a million bucks strutting out onto the dance floor with a pretty girl on each side of him, he led them out onto the dance floor and tried to just let go and enjoy himself. What Xanna had said had relaxed him a bit, he bobbed his head and tapped his foot to the music before grinning playfully, and he just started to groove. After all, it wasn't about being the best dancer, right? It was just about having fun and loosing control. He could feel his body slipping into the beat, and it felt amazing. He watched Xanna and Sav twirl, grinning as he jokingly imitated them with a little turn.

"Adonis, if you're gonna dance, you gotta feel it." Sav went down into a full coffee grinding head spin. After, her hair wad messed up and crazy. "You gotta feel it."

Adonis laughed as he watched Sav spin. "Feel it?" He echoed, grinning as he suddenly bent and did a hand-stand -- on one hand, with his feet crazily pointing out into the air. He stayed there for a minute, then thought, oh heck, why not, and did a rather crazy attempt at the worm. Maybe it wasn't the best rendition ever, but it was pretty fun.

"Hey, not bad!" Xannadariah exclaimed, smiling at him."You're totally a natural!" She laughed again. "Try this." Xanna suddenly dropped to the floor and spun in a tight circle, hair flying. Her eyes closed, letting the number of bass bats determine how many twitls she did. Swiftly returning to her normal altitude, Xanna tossed her hair back into position. "How was that, Sav?" She asked jokingly.

"Hey, not bad!" Xannadariah exclaimed, smiling at him."You're totally a natural!" She laughed again. "Try this." Xanna suddenly dropped to the floor and spun in a tight circle, hair flying. Her eyes closed, letting the number of bass bats determine how many twitls she did. Swiftly returning to her normal altitude, Xanna tossed her hair back into position. "How was that, Sav?" She asked jokingly.

"Oh, marvelous!" Sav said in a horrible English accent. The music beckoned her to the center. She did a spinning headstand and jumped in the air for a somersault and landed on her feet.
