Splashingriver let out a deafening screech. The woodpecker squeaked in surprise and fluttered too Echostars side of the cactus.

"Alright, lead the way," Boneclaw said.

Echostar bunched up her muscles and leapt high in the air, plowing straight into the bird and pulling it down into the sand below. She pinned it down and killed it with a swift bite. "Nice catch!" she called to Splashingriver softly. "That was brilliant!"

Mistsong pulled a small muse out of the Freshkill pile.

Lightgaze sat in camp grooming herself. Looking up from where she sat she saw Mistsong. "G'morning Mistsong" she greeted her fellow warrior.

Sandgaze nodded and soon stopped in his tracks. With a flick of a tail he pointed out where one of the dune mice was scurrying around. He dropped into a hunters crouch, the sand making his steps silent and pounced on the animal, giving it a death bite.

"It was really yours," Splsshingriver mewed. He looked down at his leader. When he tried to slide down the cactus, he lost his paw hold, but recovered it, right on the spikes. He howled in pain, falling the rest of the way down

"Morning!" Mistsong returned the greeting to Lightgaze. She took a quick bite from the mouse before starting up a conversation, "How has your morning been?" She asked.
