It took Ahote a minute to get down to his knees, but he managed. He glared at her injured leg for a moment, waiting for the plan to come to him. This time, nothing did, though. Ahote slid back up onto all four of his legs, searching around for something to jog an idea to his empty mind. There was no way to move an entire Equid, none at all. And if she couldn't stand healing wouldn't take place.

The only option would be for her to hobble over to the cave in some way, and possibly lean again the wall in order to stand. "Marly, I've got a plan. It's going to require you to stand, though. " He trotted to her side again, lowering himself a little. " Stand and lean on me, you can hobble to the cave, can't you? And once there, just lean up against the wall. If it's broken it will take a while to heal, but still, at least it will. I hope. "

Perkta saw Kaiya look up and noticed the stallion the same time she did. Yet again ears pricked and chest puffed he backed out of the water and closer to the mares. He looked quickly from one to the other but Kaiya didn't seem phased by this stallion. Still he held his ground but tried to relax his shoulders and neck a bit, tried.


Rae saw Freddy sniffing and decided to do the same. She too smelt the faint smell of cougar but it didn't bother her as much as it seemed to bother him. "Maybe we should change direction. No sense in walking towards potential threats," a smile lit up her face as she stopped and looked around. She had no idea where they were even headed anymore.

Her elongated tails sweapt to the side before she moved to the right, her green hues eyeing the golden brute as his uptightness seemed to drop as he commented on her attitude. A very un-amused look swept across her facade as she snorted her dial lifted high and pranced right on past him back towards the woods.

Her harks swivel as her muscles bunch, she flounders with her feet and miss-steps well rounded rocks, slipping before regaining her balance. Lookng around she spots a ebony and ivory brute smiling at her she moved back he hind legs splashing into the water as she bent her head down and looked between her legs then back up, Quietly.

Again. His tail flicked back and forth, his ripped ears swiveling impatiently as he lay in the small cave. It was not often that he just... Took the day off.
But today was different. He was resting, saving his energy for the next morning. Skullcandy was always more active during the dark hours, but today... He just could not lay his hoof on it, but he knew it would be the right choice.
He lay by himself, his legs folded neatly under his large body (for he was one of the bigger males of his kind) and his tail curled up to the right of him. His left side brushed against the cave wall, allowing him some sense of security. A cave wall was better than being all alone, that's for sure.
Of course he would have preferred a mate at his side, and a foal nestled around his tail, but such fantasies were for the weak of heart.
No. He would not indulge in those unachievable dreams. He knew reality was far crueler than his imagination. But he didn't mind.
The best kind of company for him was no company. At least in this world. But in his fantasies, his dreams...
A family would be pleasant.
But Reality did have her way with the damned.
Oh well.

Kaiya giggled a bit as as usual Perkta god himself all puffed up like a blowfish and stood in front of the two mares protectively as Slain drew closer.

"Hello there," He said as he easily waltzed by Perkta who had recognized Slain's quite intimedating hieght. Kaiya smiled at him happily as he came and laid by her.

We began to chat as Perkta stood near us, and Slain told of the pissy brown mare he had ran into earlier. and the only thing that went through Kaiya's mind was her best friend Marly. He had said basically an identicle description to her.. and now Kaiya couldn't help but ask.

"Where did you see this mare, care to show me?" She then looked at the two that she had brought to the river in the first place. She felt a bit guilty for leaving them.

"Give me 20 minutes, I'll be right back. Slain, show me."
He cantered out in front of her, leading her to a patch of trees right over the hill.
"Here?" She asked, sniffing the ground. He nodded and looked around.

Kaiya lifted her head to him with glossy eyes. "Oh my God." She whispered, "It's her."
She Galloped up the hill where the scent had led her, Slain on her trail. She soon found her friend laying down next to a stallion who leaned over her. And Kaiya got furious.

She pinned her ears and turned to Slain. "You stay here, imma go see what he did to her." Slain nodded and smirked. Something told he kinda wanted to see her beat this dude up. She winked at him cheekily and went galloping towards him.

Kaiya swiftly leaped on this stallion and body slammed him to the ground. She took her place in front of her friend and snorted, he almost felt the smoke come from her nostrils and her eyes turn red.

"Back off! What did you do to her?!"
She snarled, letting all her anger flow out with her words. She stomped her foot and snorted again. Letting him know she meant buisness.

The stallion stared at the mare with wide eyes. Still shaken and probably wondering how such a tiny mare could send him flying.


"Kaiya calm down! it was an accident and his helping me!" she called to her, trying to keep her friend from killing her only helper.

She then ran to her friend and nuzzled her all over, tears coming to both the mare's eyes. "How did you get here?!" Kaiya asked, amazed the mare had gotten to the woods by herself."You're lookin at an official rouge, thanks to Quyll." She said sarcastically, Quyll was one of Kaiya's old friends. "Oh geez." She replied.

She nodded to Slain to join them and Kiaya gave a generous death glare at the stallion who was apperently helping Marlenna.
"And who is this one?" she said darkly.
