WillowWhisper stared in astonishment. Of all the ungrateful! She huffed in agitation and licked her soggy pelt. Unable to hold in her annoyance any longer, she sighed in desperation, "What did I ever do to you!?"

Cloverpaw narrowed her eyes, "Your a fox! I don't trust you!" She spat through the comfrey before turned and padding back towards camp, holding both her head and tail high.

Feather sat on a fence post looking over the territory.She had heard wild cats lived there along side foxes.It made her fur prick just thinking about it.Last time a fox had been here it had turned over garbage cans and caused so much trouble for her house folk.Yet she wondered what it was like.An idea struck her.What if she went in there, saw and fox or maybe watched the wild cats for awhile before coming back.Her friend Frosty would be so interested.She could imagine the pure white tom now.His fur on end with excitment.She always liked him.He told good stories and they always play faught together.It was decided.She would go in then come back after seeing something interesting.Feather jumped from her fence and padded into the woods.She had a collar with her name ingraved in it and her adress.Any folk here would surly return her.

"And you're a cat!" she snarled at Cloverpaws back. "That doesnt mean I have to hate you, whisker-face!"

"Better than being a stupid fox!" Cloverpaw hissed. She stood just outside the entrance to camp and stretched before padding back into camp, she headed straight to the medicine cats den.

The strong sent of fox made her shudder as Feather walked thru the trees.Unaware of her loud pawsteps.She saw a mouse and crouched down.This would defenatitly show Frosty she had been here.She pounced and landed clumsily on it.But she nipped it with a killing bite none the less.Her cream colored tail flicked happily.

WillowWhisper growled and lashed her tail. She stalked into the camp and sat under an overhang.

Redmoon looked up as his apprentice came in. She had the comfrey but she was soaked to the skin and looked angry. His whiskers twitched in confusion and amusement. Peering outside, he saw WillowWhisper, just as wet, sulking under a ledge. The fur along his spine bristled. "Cloverpaaaaw!" he growled, his jaw clenched.

Racingheart heard a twig snap. She spun around to see a kitty pet, mouse dangling from her jaws. "Hey!" she snarled. "Thats not yours!"

Cloverpaw dropped the comfrey and flattened her ears against her head. She looked up at her mentor, "What?" She asked, not really seeing what she had done wrong.

She turned yer head, hearing Racingheqrt and...some cat a little bit to her right. She scrambled through the bushes to meet them, piercing her skin in a few thorns. "What's going on?" The "unusually-older-than-the-other-aprrentices" vixen asked.

"I'd like to know that myself," Racingheart replied, pinning the apprentice under her greeny-yellow gaze.

"Why are you wet and what did you say to WillowWhisper?" he demanded. "Don't think I don't see what this clan has become. No matter what they are they are your clan mates. What reason would they have to harm any of us?"

Cloverpaw looked her mentor in the eyes, "She's a fox and I don't trust her! They shouldn't be in the Clan! They should be living under ground like the mouse dung they are!" Cloverpaw retorted, standing tall and quite proud of herself.
