Flarepaw sat beside Cheetahpaw her amber eyes wide with sadness.

Rainpaw was shaking his white and black fur trying not to think about his dead leader.

Wickedpaw couldn't believe this emotion he felt for his fallen leader. "How could she die?" He wondered to himself. A sense of pain ripped into him.

"I will mourn you tonight... as will everyone." Dawncatcher mewed to Venomstar's body. "I will remember you as one of the greatest leaders this clan has seen. Even if it was for a short time."

Sharkpaw pressed his nose to his mentors fur and sniffled back tears "you were a great leader as well as a mentor, i wish eon clan hadnt taken you away from us, i will miss you" he mewed and walked to the small area were no cat was there, he sat there with his head low and tears spilling out of his eyes "my first mentor died, and she was the leader...i felt so happy when she accepted me as her apprentice...now what will i do.." he mumbled

Vipertail lifted her eyes to the stars. "I have nothing left," she whispered. "Take me, please." A wind swirled around her as she said this, and a rumble of thunder could be heard. Clouds scuttled in and covered the sky. Except for the brightest star of them all. "Venomstar."

Duskfire was knocked off balance, Willowkit's black and white pelt just visible racing out of camp. "Why you...!" She toppled over, her vision going a little hazy for a moment before she realized she'd fallen into another cat. "Foxfang!" She exclaimed, trying to get his fur out of her mouth. She tried to get up but he was right ontop of her, his superior weight pinning her down, weather intentionally or not.

Venomstar's spirit realized that Vipertail was coming to join her. With a small smile she accepted her friend. Using her last connection to earth she sent her voice on the wind so her clan could hear her one last time. "Oasisclan. I have died and so has Vipertail the new leader shall be coconutsplash... this is what Eonclan wants... he will decide the deputy... I hope to hunt with you all when your time comes..." and with that the breeze and Venomstar was gone forever.

Coconutsplash gaped as his Clanmates vanished. Me? Leader? I'm not ready for this! "Wow..." he gasped, unable to believe this turn of events. "Me. Clan leader. I'd always dreamed of it... but wow." He shook himself, he needed to control his Clan. "Turtlepaw, you'll come with me to the Moonoasis. And... Jetfrost?" He felt awkward about commanding the older warrior. "Take Galaxykit and Dawncatcher on a border patrol to the... Mar– no, not the Marshlands, go to BrackenClan actually. And... uh, Wildfire, you and Sunpaw and Cheetahpaw can patrol the SunClan border. While those patrols are out, the rest of you guys can hunt. When Turtlepaw and I return, I'll announce the new warriors, deputy, and apprentices. Everyone clear?"

Galaxykit narrowed his eyes at the tom and huffed walking over to Dawncatcher and sat down, he looked for Duskfire holding she wasn't hurt and sighed thinking of the ones he truted "Duskfire...Venomstar... Cheetahpaw...and kinda shinekit..why are they all women!" He clawed the ground with a huff .
