"My parents never payed attention to me, nor did anyone really. I never got my ceremony either what with the leadership being all messed up, and my sister overshadowed me in everything. And so I left." Clover shrugged.

"No, I like you as... more than a best friend. I'm..." Sunspot trailed off, trying to find the words to say. "I'm in love with you, Bumblestep."

He considered the tom's words and came up with a solution. "Maybe you just need an apprentice or two. Then you might be used to being in a leadership role," Leapingfire suggested.

She nodded thoughtfully. "I can understand that. I've gone through a lot pof the same things. At camp, no one notices me. Its like in a ghost or something."

Clover couldn't help but smile. Finally, someone who understood. "You could always leave like I did. Its liberating. There's nobody to hunt for but yourself, unless you take a mate or have kits of course. The people in your life are the people who really care about you, instead of just staying in some group and feeding people you hardly know."

She stared in shock at the rogue, no, her father. She barely even registered the insult, she was so shocked. "But... how...?" she choked out.

Bumblestep seemed even more confused now. "Okay....Why?" He meowed. There was surprise evident in his tone and he began to wonder why Sunspot hadn't told him about these feelings earlier. He assumed they must have been going for a while now to have progressed to the point of love.

Lightheart gave a soft sigh. "I don't know. Maybe. Tinystar named me as that one kit's mentor...Sunny. So I guess it's a start." The pale tom murmured.
