Cloudgaze's head snapped towards the sound she recognized as Icekit's frightened screaming. She dashed out of Stripestar's den and to the nursery to see what was going on. Icekit ran to cower at her legs as soon as she entered the den but wouldn't speak.

Wildflight simply shook his head with a sigh. Leopardstripe was obviously deliriously so there would be no arguing with him. "Here. Drink." He said as he dropped some wet moss in front of him.

Stripestar glance back at bumblepaw. His tail moves a bit. "Go on to your brother I'll speak to other warriors"

Leopardstripe nodded. "I remember when a pigeon ate my twoleg! Boy was that pigeon fiery!" He drank the moss, relief washing over him. His throat felt so dry before he drank the moss.

Rabbitfur felt the tom was getting more and more confused with him. He hung his head low, averting his gaze until they reached the creek. He gave his shaggy, sodden coat a shake, giving his shoulder a nervous lick afterwards. He couldn't forget what he came out here to do. He sniffed around for prey, not exactly surprised he couldn't scent anything.
"About ... Mallowkit, ah..." He looked back at him, tailtip flicking. "Perhaps Clan life isn't for everyone."

Cloudgaze attempted to get Icekit to tell her what the matter was but she seemed too shocked to speak. Suddenly, blood smell washed over her and she quickly moved to check the rest of her kits. A horrified look developed on her face when she felt the sticky, sickeningly warm feeling of blood on Mousekit. "Mousekit!" She tried to rouse him by shaking him with a paw before she scooped him up and rushed him out of the den and to the medicine cat den.

Wildflight was satisfied to see him drink. With a soft sigh, he left the den to try and figure out if he could find either the medicine cat or her apprentice somewhere.

Bumblepaw frowned. He knew he had done poorly and that his mentor was disappointed with him. He slowly nodded and started back to camp.
