“But I wanna listen to Palestar and Silverpounce!” She whined. She sat down with a thump.
“I need to know what’s going on! Please Daisyshine!!”
She glanced towards Palestar’s den longingly.

Silverpounce sighed. He looked at Robinkit. "Sorry, Robinkit. It's very very private. It's something only the deputy and leader can talk about." He looked at the kit, suggesting he should leave. He smiled slightly, then walked into Palestar's den, as his smile faded. His expression was blank as always. "Palestar... I'm worried about Venomtooth and Oceanpaw. It's been atleast half a day since they left. It never takes them this long. I'd send out a patrol but I decided it's important for you to know about it first." When saying this, his blank expression faded and he looked more... startled. Silverpounce looked down at his paws, then at the leader back again, knowing something is wrong.

"See?" Daisyshine murmured, trying to nudge the kit away. "Let them figure out what is going on, then we can find out," she meowed to Robbinkit.

Robinkit huffed.
“Ugh! Fine...”
She let herself be nudged away but stayed within eyeshot of the den, Ready to rush over as soon as she saw either the leader or deputy.

The white furred leader frowned at the news and it only made his anxiety worsen, "Yes, send a patrol immediately," He said, "If anything's happened to them I want you to report it back to me as soon as you can." He ordered, his mind rushing with thoughts of what could be taking them so long, which in turn made his worry for his two clanmates worsen.

He nodded and ran out of the den. He walked up to Harrierheart and Darkeye. "We are going on a patrol to find Venomtooth and Oceanpaw. We need to get there fast. I'll lead the patrol." He huffed, obviously tired with all the running, especially with his long fur that made him warm up way too quickly.

Silverpounce, Harrierheart, and Darkeye had brought back the bodies of Oceanpaw and Venomtooth. There were quiet gasps of surprise and anguish as word spread through the clan. “We found them in the training hollow. A cat from our clan did this.” Silverpounce announced angrily. “Whoever did this must be taken care of!” He looked to his leader, Palestar, who nodded his head in agreement.
“As my deputy says, someone in the clan was responsible for this. I leave it up to you, my clan, to decide who did it.”
There were crickets from the clan, aside from one, who called for Harrierheart’s exile. No cat dared to raise their voice to vouch for him.
Harrierheart jerked back, unsure, “No! I..I saw! I can-“
“Enough!” Snapped Silverpounce. His temper had gotten the better of him.
Harrierheart glared at the cat that had voted for him, his tail swishing. He looked to his leader, who refused to meet his gaze. His body shook in anger as he turned to leave the clan, calling back to them, “It wasn’t me, but i won’t be back when this comes to an end. Never again will I trust Thunderclan. You all were supposed to be family.” They would see him at the next gathering, sitting with Windclan.
There goes a witness, Thunderclan. Can you count on the one you have left?
