Rabbitfur shook his head, insisting they do something than sit here. He doubted sitting in camp would protect them anymorre than working. And if they caught the sniffles, it was doing something important. He turned and exited camp, looking around for the trail he took earlier towards the creek. It was teeming with prey earlier. And now that he'd eaten, he was certain he could catch more. He carried on, but at a slow enough pace so it didn't look like he was trying to avoid the tom.
"All right," he continued gruffly. "I called her out on being a little furball. I didn't really mean anything by it at first. All kits are furballs to me." His eyes almost appeared to glaze over with fond memories before he blinked them away. "But then she started saying something I found ... alarming, at the least. So I called her an annoying furball." It wasn't the sharpest of insults he knew. He knew better than to unleash those to little ears. But still, he knew it probably wasn't the best thing to say.

One-eye nudged the younger warrior. "What did she say?" he asked, frowning.

His pelt bristled and he looked at him before moving a few steps away, obviously uncomfortable.
"Would you say ... it would go against the code to withhold this information?" If the tom didn't know alrready, and found out from him, he didn't exactly wish to be held accountable. Not that he was very afraid of the kit or anything. But he didn't want to be swept up in any more emotional drama. He felt he'd had his fair share already.

"Ah.. no," One-eye chuckled, raising a brow. This tom was definitely.. odd. He searched Rabbitfur's face, trying to read his mind.

Icekit brushed off the fact that they had been told not the kill by saying, "Mom isn't a warrior, shes a queen." Certainly Snowhare would know better than her mother who had only ever been a kittypet and then a queen.
