The murderer slunk through shadowed woods, listening to the sounds of the clan’s only apprentice and mentor spar for practice. They slipped through the bushes into the sandy terrain, and sat down. “Oh, hey-UNGH!” Oceanpaw started to call, but landed face down in the dirt.
“Don’t get distracted!” Venomtooth spat, circling the apprentice. “Get up. Again.”
The murderer held up a paw. “Hang on, it’s getting late. Why doesn’t Oceanpaw take a break?”
Venomtooth paused, looking at the panting young cat and nodded abruptly, “Go on then.” They turned to the cat that interrupted training. “I can handle my own apprentice, I don’t need your help.” The murderer clucked, a dark feeling washing over them. “I didn’t say you did. Come on, give me a go.” Venomtooth looked taken aback, unsure of the offer, but nodded, “I needed to talk to you about something anyway.”
The murderer shrugged, feigning playfulness. They waited for Venomtooth to lunge for them, then ducked, turning sideways and sliding under her, raking their extended claws over the she-cats belly. “We don’t need to talk.” The murderer stood over a struggling Venomtooth, and clamped down on her neck, finishing the job.
In the woods, there was a small yelp. The murderer released a dying Venomtooth and cried out in anguish, their legs carrying them before they could stop themselves and pinned little Oceanpaw. Oceanpaw was no match for the murderer, and went to Starclan fighting.

Silverpounce walked around the camp nervously, wondering why Venomtooth and Oceanpaw aren't back from their training yet. It's been atleast half a day! Worried, he walked over to Palestar's den. "Palestar, may I speak with you?" He said, trying to remain calm. It does not take warriors to train their apprentices this long every day. Silverpounce hoped nothing happened to them, because if something happened to them, it means his clanmates might be in danger too.

Robinkit scampered across the clearing, skidding to a halt at Silverpounce's paws.
"Hi Silverpounce! What are you doing? What do you need to talk to Palestar about? Can I watch?"
She bounced around, eyes wide and excited.

Palestars ear twitched at the sound of his deputys voice, a spike of paranoia running through him as he wondered if something was wrong, "Of course, Silverpounce," He said, sitting up. He heard the curious kit just outside of his den, pestering Silverpounce about wanting to watch, slightly amused at her enthusiasm, "You may wait outside, Robinkit." The leader ordered lightly, his smile of amusement fading as he turned back towards his loyal deputy, "Is something troubling you, Silverpounce?" He asked, worried with his tail twitching anxiously, hoping that everything was well.

Daisyshine glanced around for Robinkit. Finding the mit, she blinked. "Come on Robinkit maybe we can play mossball or I can give you a badger ride," she meowed.
