Cloudgaze's expression made it obvious that she was a bit confused. "Come to me?" She said in a questioning tone, "I suppose to be scolded but...Were you doing something to annoy him?" She couldn't think of any other reason why a warrior would call out a kit like that unless they had some deep set hatred for kits but she wasn't aware of any cats in the clan that were like that. Well, except for Slateclaw maybe.

Bumblepaw followed his mentor at his normal slow pace. He wanted to run, to show just how eager he was to start training and so that he could keep up with Stripestar without the older cat needing to slow down for him but it was physically impossible for him. At least not without falling plenty of times along the way. And so he was forced to stay slow and steady with his strange looking gait.

"I do!" Icekit meowed right away, proud of herself for knowing what she was referring to. The kit was a real suck up sometimes and wanted to make Snowhare know that she was worthy of being trained by a StarClan cat like her.

Mousekit knew the move Snowhare was talking about but just thinking about it made him uneasy. "Aren't we not supposed to do that?" He mewled, ears flattened against his head. He had been told that they should never kill other cats unless absolutely necessary.

"I don't know," Mallowkit mewed, shrugging. "I was just saying I wasn't looking forward to being an apprentice."

Stripestar looks back and new. "What is the first thing you smell"

Cloudgaze was more interested in what Mallowkit just said now than the insult. It was reminding her too much of how Minkpaw expressed to her from an early age that he didn't want to become an apprentice either. Of course, in the end, he had been forced into the position but she knew he hated it. "Why aren't you?" She asked, "Do you not want to become a warrior when you grow up?"

Bumblepaw paused to quickly sniff at the air. "You." He said almost instantaneously. It wasn't meant to be an insult by any means, he was simply answering honestly.
