Cloudgaze stopped her licks to better talk with her daughter. "Yes you did. You know you aren't supposed to leave without asking me first. I didn't know where you were. You could have been hurt or lost for all I knew." She meowed in a stern tone, trying to really get it into Mallowkit's head that she had to inform her before going out. "Rabbitfur?" The blind queen went on to address what the kit had said, "What did he say to you?" Cloudgaze wasn't one to just rush to hostility without knowing what had happened first.

Mousekit wasn't fooled by the dead cat's act, not this time. He was scared of her and not much would change that now. Fear was actually a good motivator for the tom though, as was evident by the way he continued to practice as she instructed.

Bumblepaw gave his leader a strange look. He expected that he would lead him out of camp or perhaps tell him to do something, not just stand here and stare at him.

Rabbitfur grumbled underbreath and faced the elder warrior, his white tail-tip flicking irritably.
"Sir, could we ... possibly continue this while being productive? Patrolling... hunting... Anything but sitting here." Sitting in one place quickly made the warrior feel uneasy. He wasn't a slacker, but doing anything that wasn't productive certainly made it feel like he was. "I'll continue telling you out there, but not here. The camp's heard enough scolding for one day."
