Goldenpaw sat up, scenting and hearing other words. " it's probably about the gathering. " he whispered to sorrelkit.
(hey stardance, me and seedcakes have discussed something over pm, we've decided on a small side plot that may happen long in the future.
So, what we thought is that Goldenpaw thinks sorrelkit loves him. And sorrelkit thinks Goldenpaw loves her. But neither actually have feelings for each other. Is this ok?)

" That's true. I hope we get to go to the gathering!' She smile and place her tail on Sparrowpaw's. " Well... I wanted to talk with you..." Berrypaw smiled blushing a little bit.

Fernstar began as most cats gathered beneath the Highledge. "As plenty of you know, we have a gathering later tonight. I know a lot of us are injured, and unfortunately Bramblewhisker won't be able to join us this time. He is too injured to come along, so we will go without our deputy this time." She mewed, raising her tail for silence at the gasps. When the noise died down, she continued. "However I would like Foxstripe, Blueheart, Sparrowpaw, Berrypaw, Silentstream and Daywatcher, Threeleg and Goldenpaw to come along. The elders may join us too, if they'd like. And I'd also like Sorrelkit to join us." She looked down at the kit and smiled. "Yes, I did notice you were here, and I wanted to ask if you wanted to join our Clan, if you do, you can come along to the gathering tonight and learn the ways of the warrior." She mewed to the large kit.

Ｔｈｒｅｅｌｅｇ
Threeleg nodded, relieved to have something else to do. Once he'd wrapped the wound up, he looked up at Fernstar's voice. "A meeting, probably about the Gathering." He mewed, hopping out of the den and into the rising sunlight. The sky was a milky white and streaks of blood red cast long shadows across the forest. He looked up at the leader as she waited for the rest of the cats to gather.

Juniperfrost sighed in relief and her eyes widened in surprise. "Well, I'm glad, and I know that, but I'd rather have no kits than have kits with any cat that wasn't you." She mewed, which was true. She'd never felt anything for any other cat apart from Bramblewhisker, and she didn't want to have kits with a cat she didn't love just for the sake of passing down her genes. Then she looked at him and licked his cheek. "There's a Clan meeting, I'm going to listen from the den entrance, okay?" She mewed softly before shuffling to sit in the mouth of the den.

Sparrowpaw looked at Berrypaw with a worried expression. "What about?" He whispered before hearing Fernstar's call. "We're going to the gathering!" He gasped, smiling at the ginger tabby. "And we're going together this time!" He mewed happily.

Ａｑｕｉｌｏ
Aquilo was fascinated by the tom's past. When it was his turn to share his own, he felt a tingle of excitement. He'd never told any cat about his past, not even his sister because he never grew up with her. They never shared adventures like normal siblings should. "I lived with my mother as a kittypet, because although my father was a Clan cat, he'd chosen to take my sister to the Clan simply because she was smaller. I would have given anything to join her," he paused to think back, but then continued. "But I loved my mother, and although she had no survival skills she taught me a lot. When I grew older I started going out into the forest for a bit during the day, and it was fun to just explore. I can't really remember when I decided to live in the forest for good, and I can't remember where I got my hunting and fighting skills from, but I don't remember seeing my mother's death, so I don't think she's dead, but I guess I could be wrong." He finished as they reached the cobble path.

Bone closed his eyes, the last thing he saw being a flash of pity in the warrior's eyes and a low hiss being the last he heard. Then a single squeak escaped him before everything was quiet. He was in darkness for a short moment before a foggy, dark forest surrounded him and he knew exactly where he was, but felt at peace.

goldenpaw silently cheered. his first gathering! he looked at sorrelkit. "your first gathering is tonight. if you want to join us. " he then realised. "then the day after, youll be six moons!"

Her eyes bulge and her jaw drops. "Y.. yes. T..hank you Fernstar!" She smiles, a small purr rising in her throat. It's going to be ok. I'll make a new life here. She sits a bit straighter, her blue eyes glowing faintly.

Goldenpaw smiled. His eyes, which had nearly always been shut tight because he didn't want people to see his blind, pupilless eyes, finally opened. He couldn't see a thing but his denim blue eyes stood out against his gold fur.
(Goldenpaw secret #1: Goldenpaw is blind because he was born without pupils in his eyes.)

Sorrelkit stands, fluffing her long pelt out. "Yes, I am a kit. I'm turning 6 moons tomorrow, and I've survived perfectly fine alone in the wild for almost two moons. Just because I'm a kit doesn't mean I'm pathetic. You shouldn't judge me because of my age." Anger flared in her blue eyes for a moment, but she quickly quelled it. Two minutes of being in a clan again and I may have already ruined it.. She sits, lowering her ears slightly at Fernstar. I can't lose this chance..
