Herringpaw's eyes widened in surprise. "O-Okay! But can I go after?" He asked before pushing the she-cat out again.

Tidestar nodded, "Good point. What do you think?" She scanned the faces of the other cats.

Clifftail nodded, "Yeah, we could recruit a clan as an ally. Even better, would be if we chose a clan that could possibly be in our debt? That way, it would be easier to persuade them, and bring remembrance of when they were in our place."

Salmonfall nodded agreeably. "Definitely," she huddled up against the tom, hoping to share body heat.

"Yeah!" Beechpaw slid a little ways down the tree this time, but after a few seconds, managed to claw her way back up. "I was hoping you'd say that," she admitted with a grin, and gave Herringpaw a rough nudge from behind.

Ripplestripe merely nodded. He didn't appear to be against any of his Clanmates' suggestions.

Herringpaw didn't have much time to realize that he'd been pushed out already. Right before he collided with the water, he caught himself. The tom hauled himself back up into the tree, waiting expectantly to be pushed again.

Beechpaw's eyes glinted with playfulness and she backed up a bit before charging into Herringpaw, knocking him out of the hollow again. "This is fun!"

Herringpaw was more prepared this time, and used her push to help him reach a nearby branch. He scrambled back into the hollow, prepared to shove her out next. "Agreed," he panted.
