Duckpond nodded tiredly as he left Moonshade and Deathrage for a moment to gather herbs. "Great Starclan! Look at all this work I have to do now, quack!" Duckpond returned with some herbs, and instructed Moonshade to eat the already pre-chewed plants. The medicine Cat looked drained, and hearing the news about Morningdove did him no better either. He was glad that more warriors were added to Timberclan- but honestly...

Duckpond shook his head and started apply one of them on the female's neck. "This helps with the soreness." Duckpond said plainly, and then offered her some other herbs. "It should be easier to breathe now." Duckpond gave another sigh, and looked around. Where was his assistant anyways? Was she okay? He hadn't seen her in a while. "Quaaaaaaaack. Are you feeling better, Moonshade?" Duckpond focused on one problem at a time. His priority at the moment was Moonshade, so he began to tell her what to do."So, your soreness should be gone, and it should be easier to breathe now. However, your ribs are still broken- but they can heal on their own if you stay still and didn't do any warrior work for a few moons. Don't do any warrior work." Duckpond ordered with a glare, making sure Moonshade would follow his orders.

Looking away from Deathrage as Duckpond spoke to her, Moonshade blinked. She winced still as he kept on reapplying endless amounts of herbs. The mysterious, dark tabby sighed but didn't complain as she lowered her muzzle to lap up the bitter herbs. With a grimace, she swallowed, shuddering at the horrible taste. She stretched her head back a little to help him as he laid down leaves. She peered out the entrance as he kept on going on about the medicine. Then she saw Littlehawk reappear with his mother's body and she swallowed hard. The sight made her feel suddenly scared that the young tom would be angry at her for letting his mother die like this. But it wasn't- She blinked as she started to feel tears once more. Drop after drop slid down her soft cheeks in her guilt. Yes it was... I couldn't get away from that rogue. She died in front of me... Again. She shut her eyes, forcing herself not to look at Morningdove's body as her body shuddered. She cried, unable to control her emotions.

Moonshade looked up at Duckpond with her tear-filled eyes shimmering at him. "I guess... I'm..O-Ok.." she whispered. It still hurt to move it around, but that was mostly the burning in her chest spreading upwards. Her neck wasn't as sore now. But he was right; her ribs were definitely broken. With a heavy sigh, the she-cat nodded a little, saying, "I-I won't Duckpond... No matter..ho-how much I'll want to... to kill those bastards..." She looked away, hackles rising as she began to feel angry. But she took in a deep, shaky breath and started to tear up again. "Thank... Ah...Thank you, Duckpond. For all of this. You-you've done so much for me.."

The she-cat nodded to her mate, understanding. When he mentioned the victim's weakness a smug grin spread across her face. "What about any real kits? I know that would hit her harder," Hollowstar said. She licked Dusk's head and put him down at her paws. She repeated the process with Wolf and Shadow. All of her kits were so strong, hopefully they would enter battle training soon, as they were certainly ready to face the world.

Claw growled in his slight ignorance. "I don't know if she's got any.... I feel like that stunt Tigerstripe pulled on her seriously broke her down." He stopped, smiling at his words. He was right. She hadn't found a mate and been able to live happily with a real family like she thought Tigerstripe would. But he didn't know for sure- he'd only met three Timberclan cats including her. "She could possibly... but I don't know. When Tigerstripe comes to meet us tomorrow night, he'll definitely let us know. He should at least have found that out by now."

Wiseheart shook her head. "Oh, no. It's no trouble at all! I could make you one. After all, you need your rest!" she meowed kindly and stood up slowly so Tigerstripe wouldn't fall from leaning on her. "I could fetch you some moss and we could make it." Wiseheart didn't mind making him a nest. She didn't want to make him use up his engery while he could be resting. He should be resting. He's hurt after all! I won't let him make a nest all by himself!

Sootkit

Sootkit gave a large yawn, his tiny pink jaws stretching wide. His white legs stretching in front of him. As he relaxed, he continued to suckle, not knowing what was going on outside of the nursery, and not really caring at the moment. After all, he was a kit, and food, his mother, and the warmth from his brothers and sisters was all that really mattered to him at this stage.

"Are you sure?" Tigerstripe asked softly. He was definitely going to stick with the in-need-of-love, innocent, helpless act. He lowered his face with a small sigh. "Alright, if you insist." He looked up, smiling a little and stood. He started to make his way to what seemed to be the warriors den slowly. He paused near the entrance, making it look like he felt uncomfortable going inside first, and alone. He turned his head around to look at Wiseheart, waiting kindly.

Barkkit squirmed, eyes shut tight as she tried to sleep. Every once in a while she would wake, shaking with fear from the following nightmare. With a small sigh, the kit curled close to it's mother's warm stomach, trying to go back to sleep once more.

Certain whatever the fuss was about was over, Flickerkit snuck back into the nursery. She was instantly confused. How the heck did these kits get here?! she thought. She wandered up to her new sister and brothers and nudged Sootkit with her paw. "What the heck are these?!" She demanded, looking at Applesong accusingly. She was used to being the spoiled single kit, and these guys would get in her way. Besides, when did she give her parents permission to have more kits? She could not recall.

Sootkit

Sootkit let out a small mewl, lashing his short tail in confusion. The black and white tom's pelt was ruffled, adding to his discomfort. The large thing (Flickerkit's paw) that had touched him, was scary, meaning he moved closer to his mother and brother beside him.
