" Sure." Honeydream took the lead. Her paws finding the scent trails left by many seasons of cats. Her ears pricked as she got closer to the riverbank. Something was stirring among the reeds. Stiffening, Honeydream placed her tail out as a gesture to hold still, and keep silent. " I hear something...It sounds rather large..." The she-cat whispered. Ducking down and creeping forwards so she could catch a scent.

"What?" Rustpelt ducked down as well.

Honeydream let out a low growl. Inching closer to the noise. " I hope it's not a rouge."

Rabbitfur shifted on his paws, but didn't look away from him.
"I suppose so. But disrespect towards seniors, or any warriors at all should not be tolerated." His mind reflected on what Mallowkit said and, for a heartbeat he considered telling the tom about her uncertainty and dread at becoming an apprentice. Of course, with how she behaved towards him, she probably wouldn't give a rat's tail about it. "But, I'll note what you told me. I'd like to blame my outburst on hunger." But of course everyone, including himself, knew he had a severe lack of patience, especially when it came to kits.. He flicked an ear, hoping the tom wouldn't force him to choke out an apology. How could he when he hadn't done anything wrong?

"You did something to provoke her. Cats don't normally lash out unless defending territory or are.. just mean~ no territory is Mallowkit's and she is not mean," One-eye meowed calmly, sitting down beside him.

Rabbitfur felt his fur prickle as the large brown tabby sat down beside him. He inched away a pace or two before sitting down as well, not wanting to be rude. His ears twitched thoughtfully and he glanced back at the nursery. The molly provoked him, he wanted to argue. But he couldn't muster the strength to do that. He was cranky, after all. Not cruel.
"I did," he admitted after a moment's silence, his gaze shifting away. "We had different views." He figured One-eye would be able to guess what they were in time, if he didn't already know the kit. But guessing how he said Mallowkit wasn't mean, he assumed the tom definitely knew.

Honeydream swiftly shot forwards her paws moving nimbly across the grass. Seeing a rather large tree with large outstretched branches she quickly scrambled up the bark. Quickly weaving around branches until she had a clear view of the intruder. A massive slobbery dog. Or at least what looked like one. It's fur seemed too matted to be a twoleg's pet. Fear clamped like jaws around her chest. " Rustpelt get up here! Quick!" she hissed.

Cloudgaze pulled Mallowkit close to her body as soon as she caught her daughter's scent indicating that she had entered the nursery. She covered her in frantic licks while she said, "Don't ever leave without my permission!"

Lostface seemed to take no notice of Honeydream's avoidance of her when she came near the warriors den and so she simply decided to lay with her front paws tucked underneath her chest. She parted her jaws in a wide yawn of boredom.

Bumblepaw's eyes filled with enthusiasm when he noticed Stripestar approaching him. He nodded and slowly stood up, trying to use his tail to balance himself.

Mousekit slowly dropped into a crouch again before springing out after an imaginary enemy. He was putting more effort into his actions now because he was starting to grow fearful of Snowhare and worried about what might happen to him if he didn't obey her.
