(i'm just going to pop in here and say that i really do not like when cats that are not medicine cats have so much herbal knowledge(like creekspring seems to have). it defeats the purpose of having a medicine cat and basically makes him another medicine cat who doesn't have the medicine cat restrictions of not being allowed to take a mate or have kits.
now if this was a life or death situation and the medicine cat hadn't come on for a while then okay, a warrior could probably get away with somehow knowing how to do some basic stuff in order to prevent the cat from dying but this isn't that.
idk this is just my opinion on the matter and feel free to ignore it if nobody else feels the same way)

(OOC: He knows cause when he was 9 moons old, he met a medicine cat who took care of him, (his dad tried to kill him so he ran away) he was never interested in herbs though. So they are pretty boring to him, and he would never commit himself to doing it for his life XD)

(yes some basic ones that everyone is bound to pick up are fine. imo mostly only cats who were queens might know of borage. but like, catmint, cobwebs, maybe even marigold would be alright to know.
some cats might know a little more, like if they had a persistent cough and kept going to the medicine cat they would likely learn that tansy is good for cough and honey can soothe a sore throat, but it would still only be a little bit of knowledge about specific herbs. not every herb)
(brightheart assisted in the medicine cat den during a time of need. i think there was a greencough epidemic or something? and she didn't come away from it knowing every herb afterwords)
(to learn herbs a cat has to go through moons of training. at least six moons but usually more. a few moons spent with a medicine cat wouldn't be enough time for creekspring to learn so many herbs. a few more than usual, maybe, but if he didn't even have a want to learn then why would he have learned? tbh it just sounds like a dangerous situation to me - an untrained cat feeding others herbs all willynilly)
