description: eelskip is a tall, thin, grey mackerel tabby tom with yellow eyes, white belly, chin, and paws. he has a darker splodge of fur just over his nose, and darker, tufted ears. he's paranoid and speaks with a heavy stutter, and is rather cowardly, preferring to hide away if there's any sort of conflict going on. if any sort of pressure is put on him, he'll likely start hyperventilating, so he prefers to let breezefire deal with the worse-off injuries that cats come in with unless it's absolutely necessary. easily startled by loud noises, eelskip became a medicine cat after his high-functioning anxiety and fear of hurting others interfered with his warrior training. despite his jittery and sometimes distant personality, this tom has a spectacular memory, and there are a lot of things he'd rather forget, such as the time where his mother came in with terrible injuries after a battle and died in his arms.
he has a soft spot for kits, but is always terrified he'll step on one. he can become extremely overprotective of the little creatures, willing to let them watch him with his medicine cat duties if they feel interested in doing so. he seems to have a liking for heronkit, as the little kit seems to be learning about herbs abnormally quickly to what he can stutter out.

allowed him to excel in his training. applepaw tends to speak out without a second thought,
especially when rage has set in. underneath all of this is a passionate loyalty to his clan,
