Swiftstar turned to face his newly named deputy as she padded into his den. He sat down, Curling his tail over his paws. "I'm sorry for the disappearance of Starkit, Clouddash and Firepaw will hopefully return with your kit. Now, I guess your wondering why I appointed you as deputy, and not your brother?" He meowed smoothly, his eyes flickering with intelligence.

Clouddash headed for the sun clan border, knowing Starkit would have strayed further he crossed straight through their territory to the blackclan border.
