"Yes there is, Night." Akira relied seriously. " You saved my life, and my surviving pups! If you haden't found me and brought me here, all of my pups would probably have died. You just saved me from a cougar because i was too stupid to save myself. I owe you my life."

Echo smirked, waiting to see the big brute's reaction. She should have known that Sontag could handle it. Should it come to a fight, though, she was ready.

Akira stared at him for a few seconds, then sighed and shook her head. Then she turned and walked past him, pausing to touch her nose to his chest and giving him a meaningful look, and hopped back through the hole. When she was on the other side, she called back to him : "I don't know about you, but i'm starving. Would you mind sharing that deer with me?"

Akira waited for Night to catch up to her, then padded once again towards the prey-pile. She glanced at him while he walked beside her, and felt her heart squeez. What am i thinking? He just saved my life, thats it. It's only right that i feel thankful towards him. But, i'm not sure thankful is all that i'm feeling....... She shook her head, trying to clear her thoughts.

Night intertwined his tail to Akira's tail.

Everest stood there, listening to her brother. She growled deeply, her ears flat. She wasn't afraid to fight Ghost, and was perfectly capable of beating him.

"Coward!" Ghost snarled to Everest

Akira sucked in a shocked breath, and looked up at Night. She knew she was blushing, but couldn't do anything about it. Her ears flicked, and she stood there like a moron, completly unsure of what to do.

Echo watched the scene unfold, wondering how Everest would react. She knew this was Everest's battle, and she wouldn't intrude unless necessary.
